Wright Fight Concepts has been an outstanding experience for my 6-year-old son, who absolutely loves learning martial arts there. Every day brings something new and exciting for the kids, and it's clear they are not only growing in skill but also in discipline and respect. The atmosphere is both fun and structured, which has been incredibly beneficial for my son’s development.

Damien, the owner, and the staff are nothing short of amazing. They have a fantastic balance between teaching technique and guiding children when they misbehave. Instead of scolding or embarrassing them, they redirect with patience and understanding, fostering a positive learning environment. This has made a big difference in how my son approaches challenges, both in class and at home.

One of the things that stands out the most is how much the instructors genuinely care about the kids. They work hard to ensure that every student, no matter their level, feels supported and included. It's not just about learning martial arts; it's about teaching respect, focus, and perseverance. The sense of community here is strong, and as a parent, I appreciate the values being reinforced through each lesson.

My son is always excited to attend classes, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in his confidence, coordination, and overall behavior. The combination of physical training and life lessons has been invaluable. I can’t thank Damien and his team enough for providing such a nurturing and engaging environment.

When we first came to WFC I came in to observe the kids class so I could get an idea of how the sensei interacts with the children. When I left after that visit, I was sure my child would feel welcomed. The following day he started his first class, with teens and adults. I was nervous about "my baby" being mixed in with adults because we have had bad experiences in other dojos with people being too aggressive. After his first class my son was hooked and wanted to enroll full time; 4 days a week!

This is more than a dojo, more than a training space. This is a family where everyone wants to see you grow and succeed. This is a safe haven where you can find comfort and protection. This is where you (or your child) will learn confidence and build self esteem and character. Martial arts, boxing, wrestling, weaponry... there is something to try on every day of the week, for all ages, and every one of the trainers is exceptional!

Cannot say well enough how grateful I was to be able to attend this evening’s instruction on Kimura theory and utility with my favorite jiu jitsu teacher, Professor Joe Mozdzen. I’m so excited about the trend of monthly collaborations between SJBJJ’s excellence and Professor Damien’s outstanding and courageous leadership- it is that which manifests the same warm and intense vibes in class- here at Wright Fight Concepts. We had my daughter join with Damien and Wright Fights at 4 years old. He does a stellar job with the very young group, you can tell they're learning jujutsu while playing games, having fun, and gaining confidence. I highly reccomend.
