I was referred for nerve testing here. I arrived for my appointment early. I waited for over 45 min after arrival and 30 minutes past my appointment time without ever being called back for my appointment. I had to leave because I didn’t have time to wait over 30 min past my appointment time (and who knows how long I would’ve still had to wait) so I left. The nurse was incredibly rude when I explained I didn’t have time to wait since I had to get my kids from school and 30 min past my appointment time without any notice of “hey we’re running behind”or any type of courtesy. I received a $200 “no show” bill from them for this. Absolutely insane. I will call on Monday to see about this because this is absolutely criminal since I clearly was there since they got my mailing information to send me the bill. If they decide I do not have to pay this, I will update based on the customer service I receive, however my experience with them so far has been way below passable. This appointment would’ve otherwise been covered 100% by my insurance but they felt the need to charge me because they were running late? I wouldn’t trust this place at all for any procedure if this is how they run it. Drive a little longer into norther Virginia if you want any type of professionalism. Because it clearly won’t be found here

I’ve been seeing Dr. Stergis for about 2 years. I haven’t had issues with this practice until now. However, today I called about a prescription issue and the nurse, whose voice I didn’t recognize from any past interactions, called me back today to tell me that they couldn’t provide me with a med to hold me over until my next refill date (before now they have always been willing to provide this for me), she also told me that it was my fault for running out and that I was making my situation worse by taking this medication too often (this medication is not known to cause rebound effects, so this offhand comment was unwarranted and just weird). She also said that they’ve done all the prior authorizations for a new med I’m supposed to be taking, but I’m still being told by my pharmacy that they have not completed the proper forms. This is the first time I’ve had this issue with them, but it’s a huge issue as I’m not able to function without my regular prescriptions.
I’m not sure if they got a new nurse that handles prescriptions or what, but I’m saddened to see that my condition is now going to be even more difficult to deal with now that this new person has decided it’s her place to gate keep patients from accessing the care which was formerly provided by this office without issue.
I’ll be searching for a new practice; even with decent doctors, a practice is useless if their nurses can’t be bothered to try to help, especially if those nurses turn to shaming patients about using meds at the first opportunity they get.

I was referred here “Urgently” by my doctor and 10 business days later received a phone call back from Katie who was very unprofessional. When I asked if there were different appointment options she quickly told me that I was a “work-in” so no unless I wanted to wait until June. When I agreed to the appointment time, I asked what to expect (as I’ve never been to a neurologist before) and she coldly told me that this was a Neurology office and she’s “just a receptionist.” Due to this awful first impression, I am going to seek a different office for treatment.

My daughter is 4. Her name is Macie. We have been looking for answers for her for over 3 years. After many many doctors, Dr.Lyons finally gave us those answers. He actually listened to us. As a mom, there’s nothing I want more than for my daughter to have the best care. Dr.Lyons gave us exactly that. I will forever be grateful.

Casey Fletcher is Amazing, Helpful and knowledageable along with the staff at Winchester Neurological Canter. I can honestly say when I call I get my answers and within a timely manner. Casey went above and beyond for me to find out about my medication and to get an appointment set up along with some samples to get me through until my appointment.

Waited for a few months for an appointment. Got confirmation in the mail. Went in today, they claimed they had sent a cancellation in the mail. Never received it. Had to take a day off work for this appointment and now have to wait another three months to see them. I had attempted to contact them early in the week to make sure I had an appointment, never received call backs. I understand a doctor having a family emergency, I just want more clear communication.

I was a patient there for years, although I have not been there in a while. My eye doctor sent them over a referral marked URGENT. I gave them 2 days and left them a message. It's been a week and I still have not received a call. At this point I was able to get an appointment scheduled at Neurologic Associates and don't even want the phone call back.

I was referred here after an appointment in the emergency room. I had an initial appointment and they developed a treatment plan. They were to put in a prescription for me and a preauthoization. The prescription was never filled and they never called me back. I have been waiting for a response for a month. I have called and left several messages asking for the next steps. I have never received a return call. If I could give them less then a one star I would.
