Seeing the raptor flight show was a truly special experience. The presentation featured four incredible birds, each with its own story and unique traits. The show included an engaging slideshow, entertaining and knowledgeable speakers, and skilled trainers who clearly care deeply for these animals. We learned fascinating facts about each bird, as well as some surprising insights into corvids. A perfect blend of education and entertainment—highly recommended!

The nature center is also highly educational and I wish we could be in town longer for their weekly walks and workshops. We'll be back!

I am visiting the area and heard about the center somewhere. I can't recall from where. I thought I would check it out and WOW! I was so impressed with all of it. And then to top it off, the Raptor show is amazing. If you are in the area definitely take the time to stop here. It's educational and entertaining!

We attended the raptor training show, and it was very entertaining, educational and professionally done. There were quite a few young children in the audience and they were engaged throughout the session. Highly recommend!

I haven't had a chance to get tickets to Raptor Training. Please try to book tickets in advance for a free show of how the birds exhibit their skills.
There are few animals like mountain lion statue with it's real skin.
And of course the front desk at the gift shop are most welcoming!

We loved the raptor show so much we went again the next day! And I would go again in a heartbeat! Tickets were only $2.50 per person in the off season and the show was really great. We learned so much and enjoyed seeing these magnificent birds. I never thought I would appreciate vultures, but now I do! The “show” is actually a training session. So the birds are in training but the training methods used are humane and the birds are not forced to “perform”. One day the red tailed hawk didn’t want to come out, and the next today the vulture didn’t want to come out but they said up front that it was spring and birds were moody. I think the owls were my favorite! I loved it when the birds flew right over our heads! Even my teen boys and young adults enjoyed it!
Tip: get tickets early as they fill up in the prime season.
The first time we went we sat in the middle on the third row which was pretty good and we could see all the info provided on the screens which was helpful. After seeing it the first time we sat on the front row and really enjoyed being so close to the birds but we didn’t need to see the screens since we had seen them already.

Shared a lovely day here celebrating my brother, Barry. He was a volunteer here. This place is really beautiful, clean, and the birds are gorgeous. Alot of info about the animals and plant and trees surrounding this little enclave. Anyone who wants a new place to restore your soul, this is the place.
