Supervisors are ill trained, limited in personal ability to care for clients, they set unreasonable expectations on their disabled clients, they are more willing to pick a fight, then to help. It's an atrocious infrastructure, with very few employees that have the appropriate training for their job. Additionally, most of them lie in their paperwork and will lie in emails. I don't know if this is because they're afraid of supervisors, or it's just the culture of dishonesty, but its rampant, and it's disgusting.

I had been going here for over 5 years. About two months ago, my mental health began to decline and I requested to see a therapist. I also spoke to my psychiatrist about my meds, I had confessed I had been having problems and was too scared to say anything. That's because when I was first put on meds, I was treated like I was "drug seeking" despite having 15 years of military medical records on hand. Initially (5 years ago, they didn't even want to bother looking at them). Back to current events, I found out during my next to last appointment with my psychiatrist, that he was leaving wellpower. I didn't think much of it at the time, assuming they would have someone lined up.

In my last week of treatment, I saw my therapist and told her I want to figure out what's wrong with me and work on it. She told me she didn't think there was anything wrong with me. I expressed my concern that I was viewed as "drug seeking", she assured me I was not and that it only said cannabis on my record. 2 days later I had my last appointment with my psychiatrist, where he then took the time to inform me that I was diagnosed with bipolar 2... 5 years ago. No one bothered to tell me or discuss it with me, despite my directly asking multiple times. They had no problems seeing that I used cannabis however. Go figure.

This could have all been well and fine and possibly a normal course of therapy maybe, however it gets worse. I then contacted my case manager and the program director to get copies of my records and figure out why I wasn't told previously about my diagnosis, it's been nearly a week and I haven't heard a thing. My guess is this Google review is going to get a faster response. Steer clear everyone.

Former “guest” at their Park Place location.

Staff is in it for themselves.

There are some gems but generally speaking, the Day Staff entices drama and isn’t kind towards psychosis.

They lay down the law when they get called out, and are generally indifferent towards the inner workings of those who are suffering mentally, house to house.

For some reason they find humor in poking fun and talking crap about clients, gaslighting, and apathetically nullifying blaring behaviors.

Generally they lack deescalation knowledge and techniques that would generally eleveiate tensions in the houses.

Day Staff should learn to manage the tone of their own voices, nonetheless the aim of their redirection skills as to not temper HIPPAA complaints.

The walls in these houses are paper thin.

Staff is not oblivious.

They are actually pretty bold.

As stated, some staff members are better than others.

However, multiple clients report feeling unsafe and paranoid. As well as favorited and at times triangulated.

Night Staff is exhausted but shining beacons, just know that these houses are revolving doors and staff members are paid hourly and working through hours.

Case Managers are great!

Also don’t break house rules, the grapevine is sticky.

This place is a joke , total BS IVE BEEN A PATIENT AND A CLIENT HERE FOR YEARS and keep putting me on some imaginary make believe "waiting list " for the proper diagnosis my mental health issues and concerns still go undiagnosed and untreated despite me telling them that my symptoms are unmanageable and debilitating. They have absolutely nobody with experience in working with victims of trauma or abuse. If you value your time do not waste it going here. This place is an insult to my intelligence.

Discrimination multiple times. I've seen therapists that are hostile to certain minorities, I've had a therapist who kept eating food during the "therapy" sessions, I've had two "physiatrists" that abuse their position. I met them only twice and I had to quit. The last one will be reported to the government agencies. BE AWARE if you belong to certain minorities. Discrimination and mistreatment are very likely.

I really like wellpower and all the services they offer. However, I have one major complaint. This establishment has NOT ONE VENDING machine for food but does have ONE for soda, outside . This is terrible!!! Who would build an entire medical/mental health establishment that caters to Joe public, like Wellpower does, yet not OFFER A MORSEL OF FOOD for people waiting for appointments or coming out of them? This idea [or lack therof] makes NO sense!! When your dealing with health both mentally and phsycially and yet NOT offer any snacks? while people are watng, one could possibly become hypo glycemic or something worse? Its really stupid wellpower. Really,!!! This is very VERY annoying and I feel like I'm going to ea it my own arm off. Thanks ALOT wellpower!

Don't put your trust in these people I been with them for 5 years now and all they've done is try to mess with my head. I was put out on the streets by wellpower with only hours notice. Most of the employees act in a very unprofessional way they unlocked my door and forcibly entered my room at 7:30 am without my permission or warning and just started rummaging through my personal belongings then they straight up lied to me said they were checking everybody's room then I find out I was the only room check. I'm just about done with wellpower as a whole. This isn't the first time they lied to me and tried to screw me over. And not to mention I've had like ten different case managers in 5 years.
