Long & Short: Deceptive and aggressive selling tactics with poor quality product; do not allow yourself to be fooled

I was originally contacted by a representative of this company in 2020 by someone with a conveniently generic name, promised free trial cartridges then Amazon gift card "rebates" with purchases made. Despite wanting to only try it out with one printer, I was sent over 6 boxes worth of toner. After receiving a closing letter (I have at least two), they opted to gaslight me, saying that I only had a few more cartridges left to be sent to close my account--that these would be "the last ones"--then continuing to extend the account closure by saying "these ones are actually the last ones" and expecting payment for them each time. This year I was contacted asking about toner despite requesting to never be contacted by them again. Since I'm stuck with mutilple boxes worth of product, here is what I have to say: The toner cartridges themselves are awful. Once a cartridge gets below 80% full, it starts leaking, leaving streaks of color on your documents and inside your printer. It is baffling to me that one company could be so comfortable conducting itself in such a dishonest manner, and I can only hope that less and less people fall for these tactics as time progresses.

I would prefer to give this company zero stars but will have to settle for 1. This company offers a free trial of their ink cartridge stating how much better it is for the price than the brand name. This is simply not true. The ink does not last half as long as they say that it does. They immediately sent an invoice for the "free" ink cartridge. I had explained multiple times that I would not need to even place the cartridge for awhile. They have called our office repeatedly to the point of harassment about using their ink. Instead of sending the one free ink cartridge to trial, they send 2. We used the first one and then disposed of the empty cartridge as we normally would. They said after the fact when I told them I was unhappy with the ink that we were supposed to return the empty cartridge in order for it to be free. They initially insisted that we pay for this cartridge since we could not return in. No where in any of the 20+ calls and 10+ copies of the invoice were we told to keep the cartridge. These people become progressively more rude the more that you deal with them. Please stay far, far away from this company. This is the definition of a predatory scam.

I am not sure who runs this business, but I fell for it the first call. After that I was promised Amazon gift cards, which I never received BTW. Although that doesn't really matter to me as the money doesn't go into my pockets but rather the company I work for. My problem is with the customer service. They sent me 3 cartridges in a span of one month. Who on earth would use a high yield 7k page cartridge in one month let alone 3 Anyway, I paid for it and cancelled it (or so I thought) and asked to be removed from the call list as I no longer planned on ordering. They had originally told me I could "Cancel at anytime, no questions asked" as they were certain we would fall in love with the product. However, Jane Kelley keeps calling me telling me that I would have to get one more cartridge to "complete my trail period!" Ummm, she is the same person that assured me the account was closed and I wouldn't be called on. Please don't fall for this.. Might I add the quality of the cartridge isn't as great as they say. As soon as I installed the cartridge, it kept asking me to replace the drum. I have, twice now, and I cant get the message to go away! The ink also smears on the paper and or labels I print on.. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

These guys called us about their ink and I decided to give it a try despite the bad reviews on Google. Originally they were going to send me a "promotional, free of charge cartridge" so I said ok why not and gave it a try. I opened the box and received 2 cartridges which I found a bit weird. Then about 2 weeks later they sent an invoice for the 1 cartridge that I never really ordered. Even despite knowing their "bait-and-switch" tactics, I was happy with the ink so I paid them. AND THEN, I just got a call from them saying that I've so far received 2 out of 4 cartridges that I ordered and they were trying to send them to me lol. I was speechless. I told them that I never ordered such a thing and said I didn't want them. If they kept their business clean, I probably would've kept using their product but their business scheme is so f'ed up. Do not buy or deal with this company it's a waste of your time.

This whole company is a sham. They called and asked if I wanted to try their ink, they sent me 2 cartridges and charged me for them, then I said I would buy a few more, not 162 cartridges. Oh, and they charge $75 in shipping for every 6 cartridges. So you do the math on how much they have scammed us on these toners.
Maybe this process works for large companies with several printers, but I only have 2 printers in my small office of my company of 5 employees.
Please DO NOT make the mistake I did and fall for their scam, read these reviews first!!!!!!!

This company is a big scam! They want to to try one free cartridge, but they send you two, along with a statement to pay! Then the next month they send you two more with a statement to pay again, claiming you agreed to a "case" which is 4 cartridges! The cartridges were horrible! There was black ink smudges all over the paper, like someone put black ink powder in a sifter and then sifted it over the top of the paper! I will never use this company again, or use the cartridges I have left! DO NOT DO BUSINESS EITH THIS COMPANY!

This is an update to my original review found below. After several attempts to reach the company, without success, I called my credit card company to see if they would reverse the charge. They said they would while the item was in dispute. I don't know if they contacted the seller on my behalf, but I did get a call back from Universal. I explained the the issue with the cartridges and the person I spoke with said no problem crediting my payment. I offered to send the faulty cartridges back but have not yet receive a shipping label. The person I spoke with was understanding and seemed to want to do the right thing. My advice is to take their offer of no charge unless you want to keep the cartridges, otherwise just send them back. Do not pay for them in advance though as I did. If the cartridges work for your printer, it's a good deal. Good luck! Original review.... I got scammed too. Cartridges do not work. Caveat Emptor! .... p.s. I added 2 stars to my original rating.

Total Scam. Don't fall for it like I did. Received One printer cartridge and billed me for two. With in the 30 day period I contacted them and told them I wanted to return as I was not interested in their product. Asked them to send me a return label. Never received the label. Called and inquired as to where the label is. I was told "oh we didn't have the correct email address. I addressed the issue of only receiving one cartridge but being billed for two. I was told the weight showed for two cartridges. Was told I would have to pay for the other one. And I still have not received a return label for the product. TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT FALL FOR IT !!!
