Working with Trusted Accounting and Tax has been an awful experience.

Communication was horrible throughout. One of the worst examples of this: There was a year and a half that she never sent an invoice, and then sent me one for many thousands of dollars while in the middle of the pandemic.

Lisa rarely returned phone calls or emails unless I called someone else in her office so they could go across the hall and repeatedly ask her for a response.

When I tried to change accountants, Lisa refused to release my QuickBooks account to my new accountant. She overcharged me for my final payment, and refused to refund the full amount owed. I received a small check but I am working with my bank’s fraud department to get the rest of my refund.

After that final payment, she continued the monthly charge even though I am no longer working with Trusted Accounting and Tax Services. I had my bank’s fraud department reverse the charges and block her from having the ability to withdraw funds from my account.

I do not recommend.

I came to Lisa about a year ago with a big mess left from my old bookkeeper. Even though it was her busiest time of year with tax deadlines and all she helped me through it. I find her to be one of the very best in her field and would recommend her to anyone. I don't think I will ever go to anyone else.

Lisa and team saved me! It feels amazing to finally work with a CPA who is a true "A" player. I went to Trusted Accounting and Tax Services after I had been working with a different CPA for over 5 years. I found out my old CPA (now I know was on the "C" team) did my taxes incorrectly for 3 years looking to cost over 20,000.

I called Lisa and she walked me through exactly how to correct the problem and she took over. A few months later, the issue was over and I began to receive refunds from the previous years.

Lisa and team are personable, helpful, knowledgeable , and fast. I'm grateful I found the team and have much more peace of mind.

Well to say that I previously found the bottom of the barrell in accounting firms in Denver is a massive understatement. Luckily for them, they will remain unnamed.

I had a different tax preparer do my taxes, and they didn’t seem right. I randomly stopped by these people and asked them to review what had been prepared. In total they saved me close to $9,000 in what I owed and actually got me a proper return, the best day of the year as far as I’m concerned. They will be my new tax preparer moving forward. They know the rules and tax codes, for my business and 1099 investments. Talk about having a mountain of stress removed. So glad I stopped in to have them look over my prepared taxes.

After repeated attempts to communicate what was needed for our personal taxes, for which we had many changes due to retirement income sources and capital gains, I continued to get 'canned' answers. I did, however, receive very clear repeated communication regarding fees. Lisa does not appear to have the time, or perhaps the interest, to listen to what is needed from a new client. I was disappointed at the rushed and impersonal responses after several attempts to communicate what we needed help with.

If you’re looking to get the most out of your return you need to go to Lisa. I am a travel nurse and in previous years I’ve just gone to H and R block. Not only did Lisa get the most out of my 2023 return, but she also found mistakes in my 2022 return that H and R block missed. Now I am getting even more of a return for 2022 as well as 2023. She is extremely intelligent so for my travel nurses this is the place you need to go. Lisa also helped to educate me on laws related to taxes I never even knew about. I will never go to any other CPA. Lisa is the best out there!
