Excellent service. How many businesses will call you with updates?
Not many, Kimmie did. I had my computer back in 2 days and even promptly took a call with questions after I brought it home. Would definitely use them again. They understand service.

Brought my laptop in to replace the battery but then i was told i needed to buy the battery. I dont understand why because since im a customer and am paying for a service to have my battery replaced that should be on the "professional" to find the correct battery. After i bought the battery ($120) and paid her ($150) im worse off than before. My battery wasnt horrible before i had it replaced but now i cant even start my laptop and she tried blaming it on my charger adapter. Almost $300 down the drain.

TL;DR completely unorganized business practices, poor communication at best, and I spent over $200 to go a month without my laptop, just to get it back more broken than before. DO BETTER

I called Thinking In Binary for some hardware issues on my laptop that weren’t urgent, but I feared would get worse overtime. The issues were simply my charging port, and mousepad responsiveness. I admitted my laptop has been well-used and there might be something else up, and trusted them to diagnose it.
Initial impressions were poor communication, but I understand small businesses so I was very patient. That said, I had to constantly check in for updates, and updates I did get were very unclear. But again, I was patient and I admittedly don’t like to impose (my fault).
Long story short, I went a month without my computer, waiting for this mousepad to arrive and turns out they ordered the wrong size. Since they had my computer for so long at that point, they gave it back and said to test out what had been done and see if it’s sufficient. Well, my mousepad is more broken than it was before (is seated unevenly and doesn’t even work) … how do you miss that in the quality check? Charger port is just as wonky as before. Apparently I got a new motherboard but i don’t know what that’s solved. And I’m out $200+ and have a laptop more broken than before I handed it over. I understand being in a small remote town leaves us with little options and some bumps in the road we might not encounter in the city. But this was a terrible experience at the hands of the owners. Super disappointing.
