The Gateway is a great place to get some work done, study, have small meetings, and larger trainings or meetings for free. It's also a resource for the community to use free wifi, utilize tablets, iPad, and laptops for free.

Absolutely incredible! I came in with lots of dumb questions because I was clueless as to what it was and the staff was SO generous and patient and friendly. Very cozy atmosphere to get some work done. Beyond impressed!

Really great mini library. You can borrow e books. There is a room for kids, or even adults, that has a smart board you can draw on, and two boards for board games and music. There is a large screen in the main room to view Alabama history

This place is amazing. One of the nicest facilities in Tuscaloosa. The staff is very courteous. Not sure why someone thought it was smart to give one star over nothing. Must have never been inside. It's awesome!

Built in 2016. This very rare digital library concept is quite an accomplishment for the City of Tuscaloosa. Great for children and adults. Heritage House Coffee is also located within the Gateway. 1 GB/sec WiFi is available to the public. I admire The Mayor Walt Maddox and Councilman Kip Tyner for their vision for an advanced digital library Experiance to be located in ground zero from the 2011 Tornado that ripped through Alberta.
