I went to Sylvan Learning Center of Cranford for tutoring in reading, and it was an amazing experience! The tutors were super helpful, patient, and really knew how to make learning fun and effective. My daughter has been enrolled here since the beginning of the school year ! She was struggling with first grade which includes reading and her phonics. I signed up for tutoring for my 5th grader, who was struggling pretty severely with writing. When he started, he not only had difficulty getting words on the paper (or computer) but it caused him great anxiety and frustration to do any kind of writing. We signed up for 2 tutoring sessions per week and within the first month we started seeing improvements. He was able to sit down and begin a writing assignment that is more well thought out and well structured. I can definitely say that Sylvan's tutoring did help him by practicing and becoming more comfortable, and teaching him the skills to write properly. He also really enjoyed going to each session (I'm not making this up I promise), and found the tutors all very nice and engaging. I am sure Sylvan will be a part of my children's education for years to come.

A+++! The team at Cranford Sylvan is wonderful. We had my daughter signed up for the summer program to keep her brain fresh and it was perfect, so we continued into the Fall. She has more confidence in class now, she’s excited to share her quizzes with us at home, and finishes her homework with minimal corrections. In addition she’s able to focus better in the calmer Sylvan setting and her concentration has also improved when working on her own. Thanks Bill & team!
