Thanks to Matt C. and SunRun for a wonderful experience with the solar installation and Tesla wall battery. This backup generator has saved us SO MANY TIMES! Our neighborhood loses power often and here we are at home not missing a beat with our electricity. We just love it! And it’s the basically the same price we paid before. Switching to solar & wall battery is not about saving more money, but using renewable energy source to help lower greenhouse gas emissions and peace of mind that you continue to have your power:)

5 star experience! Hands down the best solar company to go with. Great customer service, support always available through the Sunrun app. Clean installation and very professional. Sunrun does the best installs in the country for the lowest cost. I only pay for the energy my system produces and it saves me a ton of money every month! If you're looking for solar panels, choose Sunrun.
I can monitor my systems production from anywhere and if there is an issue with my equipment Sunrun calls immediately! I also know my roof is safe with their 25 year roof warranty!!!

I loved the Sunrun experience, and working with Michael Edwin was excellent. I was looking into getting solar panels for a while now and but there was always problems along the way while trying to get panels with other companies but he was able to smoothly take me from start to finish with less problems. I would highly recommend Michael to work with other people because he was very professional, thorough, and transparent about the process.

SunRun is an awful company with terrible customer service. We had to take over the solar contract with Vivint Solar when we bought our house, they were later bought by SunRun.
Last year we had to get our roof replaced and the process was a complete nightmare with SunRun. The customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. There was only one person at the company that could deal with our project, Courtney, and that person never answered the phone, rarely returned phone calls, and took weeks to answer emails. Our roof was replaced the day after the solar panels were removed. It took MONTHS to get the solar panels back on. Whenever I called for help I was told I had to talk to Courtney alone, I was never allowed to speak to anyone but the people who answered the phone.
At one point, a couple months in, when trying to get the panels reinstalled rather than gathering dust in my garage, I was able to get on the phone with another project manager who finally explained the process to me (no one had up to this point). When I expressed my frustration and said that I didn't even want them put back on anymore, she threatened me with a breach of contract and lawyers.
Eventually a crew came to put the solar panels back on. They were slobs and completely unprofessional. They were unable to finish the project and told me it was SunRun's fault for scheduling it incorrectly and they didn't know when someone could come back to finish the job. They proceeded to also tell me what a bad company SunRun is.
A few weeks later someone finally came to finish the job. Leaving a lot of junk all over my yard and driveway. But of course, the system isn't working. So again, I'm calling customer service and not getting answers or returned calls. Meanwhile, they are sending me bills for the removal/reinstall and an estimate of what I owe since they reinstalled the panels (which weren't working). A few weeks later a technician finally comes out and finds that they just NEVER TURNED THE SYSTEM BACK ON.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Be very careful when you're dealing with the saleman. My salesman failed to tell me that I was only getting 16% coverage which means my bill is as high as ever. Granted I should have read my contract more carefully because I was given the worst deal ever!!. I would NOT have agreed to this deal, and would NOT recommend this company to anyone. If you do, make sure you READ that contract very carefully. I may look like a fool, but I hope I can save someone else from trusting their sales person and not getting shafted.

Doe, the rep was awesome from our initial introduction at Costco, too explaining the process, and set up. He came out even at installation to make sure I was clear on everything and that I was receiving what I expected. I was kept abreast at all phases. They also put safety first at install.
