Sad would have gave this business five stars don’t even deserve a star! when u call this business out to come test your water and then the next day u wake up to no water is unreal!!!! Barry comes out on a Tuesday afternoon and then Wednesday morning my family woke to no water after Barry crawled under our cross base to look at our water system… Just sad how business pray on the weak and take advantage of people instead of being honest company to get more business!

So very grateful for our clean water! Any time we get company, they say “this is the best tasting water”! Thats because it’s clean and free of all the toxins and contaminants! Thanks to our Reverse Osmosis drinking water system and our whole house water system, we not only have clean drinking water but we are bathing our children in clean water. Skin is your bodies largest organ, it absorbs everything in your water. SJ water covered it all for us!

Thank you for all you do and keeping us healthy!!! Do yourself a favor, have your water tested. You’ll be surprised and disgusted at what’s lurking in your pipes. 😒

Terrific system. Great customer service.
I had SJWC install a Kinetico water treatment system in my historic house in Cold Spring in August 2018 shortly after I moved in. The system has worked wonderfully providing delicious water. I don’t even use a bag of salt a year. They service my two tank system once a year and Ive had no problems. Sherry in the office is terrific. Very pleasant as are the other staff. Rich the service technician has been doing a great job each time he comes to service.

South Jersey Water Conditioning Service is a great company!! After purchasing a house at the shore that had a well, I was discouraged to find out the iron & manganese levels were sky high and it also had a very bad smell. I contacted a few other water companies for help. After getting nothing but discouraged & frustrated with what they were telling me ,I called South Jersey . Barry was the best!! He is professional, dependable, & did a great job at a fair price. His customer service can't be beat & more importantly he fixed the problem. I have no rust & the smell is gone. He had us up & running within the day. I would highly recommend this company.You will not be disappointed!!

I paid over 8k for my softener system and hot water heater and they never put the system outside and the run off pipe they put on the side of the house over my firewood pile!! They are the laziest and then I find out they never installed a drain pan under the hw heater and now want to charge me after everything I paid! Barry is the worst salesman who just wants to cut corners and get the $$! Buyer beware! Stay far away from any purchase from this company!!

I've had an unfortunately bad first experience with this business from a customer service perspective in which I'd like to share with the wider public due to the amount of frustration involved in the episode.

First off, I can only guess that their actual work is satisfactory, because the tech worker that came to our house seemed qualified and knowledgeable about his expertise. I'm a first time homeowner and I initially came to them, knowing roughly that the previous owners had their water softener system serviced by them, as I later confirmed with them on the phone. As I knew very little beyond that one puts salt into the reservoir occasionally, when I saw what I thought was an unusually high salt consumption, I began to question whether the system could be continually cycling, or something along those lines. So, I contacted South Jersey Water Conditioning Service to ask them questions about this potential problem. I talked with Bill, and after listening to the noise it was continuously making, he advised me that it could be continually cycling, not mentioning any other possibility, like timer noise. I thought it was quite unprofessional to neglect advising me of that possibility instead focusing on, and I am paraphrasing here, a serious potential issue.

When the tech worker came to first look at it, he immediately told me, there's nothing wrong with the system, and in the bill, it mentions the client, me, hearing the timer. The tech worker spends approximately 5 minutes at the site, explaining this to me, and mentions that he will put in a word that I don't deserve to be billed for this mistake.

The business owner doesn't seem to care about long term customer relations, opting for taking a cheap billing charge. It's unfortunate, because I was happy to get the system serviced by them in the summer, instead they had to sour the whole experience for me, and it looks unlikely that I'd want to return as a customer.

Be prepared to pay top dollar. When you call for service, all they seem to care about is if they have your credit card on file. Not if your having any issues.

Make sure you have a plumber check there installation work.my water softener has been hooked up backwards for quite some time. Poor excuse for a water service company.
