We use Simpro for keeping track of materials costs and labor hours for small plumbing service projects and large construction projects. Our profits are up, customers are happier, and everyone is more productive since we have adopted this software. We can share plans, specs, and submittals with our team. Field guys can take pictures and notes about projects. Does a great job keeping track of retention also. Highly recommend.

versatile, intuitive and feature rich system. Impressive pace for feature additions and rollouts.
Customer Support can use an overhaul, maybe in way of a screen share similar to many other apps. The "send me a screen grab" apprpoach sucks but based on the overall experience, I am confident this will be addresed soon.

From looking at past reviews I can concur that our training also took awhile to get up and running. We indicated from the start of this process exactly what we needed from Simpro and sent exact examples of reports we needed. We were promised that it was within the abilities of the program. After almost a year, the representatives have not been able to show us exactly what was needed within the program. Alike other reviews Simpro is a VERY lengthy process and our representative would go on lengthy tangents when answering a simple two minute question. We felt this was important to us because if we went over on time or didn't fully grasp topics then we would have to pay for more sessions. Our team was blamed for not being able to grasp this software and we have not been able to cancel our subscription as we are locked in for a year, even though we aren't using the software. Additionally we have been "accidentally" charged 2.5x on top of the regular subscription price and have been told it will be refunded for the past month - no refund has been processed yet. Regarding the software itself - it is NOT user friendly, there is way too many clicks/steps to utilize the software. Additionally there have been multiple occasions with same day notice cancellations/rescheduling of meetings from the Simpro team. It has been agonizing to try and cancel this software and the training involved with it. I would not recommend this to any industry.

SimPRO is just another company that’s trying to get your money, and does NOT genuinely care about its customers. Our experience with the training process was terrible. One of the training days was scheduled 8 hours long. We paid for all 8 hours but instead we spent 4 hours in the meeting and the rest of the time was spent on mute just so our trainer could say we spend the “full” time in the meeting. When I talked to our account manager about this he said that our trainer was know for doing that….. After almost 2 months, the program was still not halfway up and running. We canceled with simPRO and they still billed us for the coming month. When we called to explain our experience and to get our money back, they put our questions and concerns on back burner……again. They said that they would be giving us a call to discuss this. A week later we got an email stating that we will get a credit on our account. They know very well that we will not be using the credit, and that’s why they did it this way.

simPRO is a VERY slow start. Might I suggest to anyone that is considering this product to onboard with a consulting company from overseas. Their staff here have no idea what they are doing considering it's new to the US and questions are rarely answered via the first line of customer service. That being said, once you go through the pain and suffering of getting it done, building your catalog, etc. it's a pretty comprehensive program. We are satisfied and it certainly has helped us to scale our business. We've paid alot of outside consultants to help us with it so make sure to factor that in. Otherwise, it's also nice that so many other software's integrate with it quite well.
