I stayed at Serendipia 2 times. Once at the Union house and once at the Powell house. Management needs to better care for basic housing supplies and cleaning. That’s the only bad part, everything else about Serendipia was great; location, pricing, negotiating for what ever reason (pricing, living accommodations, etc.) The people is what make it all worth it, every time I leave I wish I could stay, and when someone I befriended leaves I wish they could stay.

If you are a professional, student, or from another country working or studying I would recommend this place!!

Choosing a place to stay in SF that fits your budget and needs is hard - especially during a pandemic. The caring community aspect of the space is what drew me to stay here vs. any other type of shared space, since most single rooms in the city were out of budget. I was job searching during a lot of my stay at Serendipia, which obviously has it's drawbacks in a shared space, but everyone was extremely supportive, understanding, and emotionally there for me along the way. People respected my space during calls and remote interviews. Housemates became my friends and celebrated my wins with me. Some people even offered me job referrals and I was able to return the favor down the line. The community is the perfect mix of techy, artsy, low ego, comfort, kindness, support, respect and fun. I became friends with other software engineers, artists, builders, bartenders, body guards, you name it. Any type of rude, inappropriate behavior was eliminated immediately. The physical space is limited, but the love is infinite.

Serendipia is an amazing coliving place. Very convenient for working in San Francisco, the surrounding neighborhood of North Beach is a very nice area to live in. Most important, the people over there were the best! If you spend a summer at Serendipia like I did, get prepared, it will be the best of your life.

One of the best place to live in North Beach. Both the houses are in great location. I live in Powell street. The best thing about this community is its people. Both the houses have people of different nationalities so lot of diversity. Also, the events they arrange like community dinners and get togethers help you network and you dont feel lonely. There are always people around you to help you.

Inspiring co-living and co-working startup in the center of North Beach! Louis and Jlo are building a great sustainable community where creativity and positivity are both emphasized!
The house is super cozy and design with amazing outdoors space to chill out and a great community garden where they grow their own vegetables!
I would highly recommend staying with them a couple of days, weeks or months!

The Serendipia Life community is by far the best coliving and coworking community I have visited and been a part of. They focus on people and put their community in the center of everything they do. I made friends, i found a girlfriends and tons of people I am working with now from new customers to new team members and other collaborators for my app development agency. On the way, I had a ton of fun. The Serendipia culture is all about work hard, play hard and the founders Jean-Loick Michaux and Drew Valek are exemplifying it with the highest level of integrity. I am excited to see this growing and opening more location as they scale and streamline their operations! 🔥🙌🏼🚀
