Dating back to 2022 and 2023, my fiancé had 5 retinal detachment surgeries with another surgeon that all failed. We switched over to Dr. Chen, and he was able to correct the issue after just one surgery. Now we use Retina Consultants in Sugar Land for her follow up appointments, and we cannot be happier. Even though Dr. Chen's surgery worked, going in for appointments can be stressful because there is always a possibility of a setback. However, every time we go in Dr. Chen and his staff are always so kind and supporting. Most recently, our tech lead Harli did a great job in the first room walking us through the first steps and going over our information. The photograph imager Estefane was patient with my fiancé taking the images and gave her nice compliments. Dr. Chen did excellent as always explaining the results and answering our questions. Finally, the ladies up front were excellent in answering our questions regarding billing and getting our next appointment set up. If you are having issues with your retina I cannot recommend this place enough!

Had a great experience All around it started with the nice Lady name Harli who checked me in I think she actually set the atmosphere of how I felt moving foward the whole staff was very impressive. Thank God that Harli was in the front because I’m big on customer service I left an appointment before coming there due to their customer service . If someone is not trained customer service that is usually trained from the top to the bottom . There was no way I would give them my business . Consumers need to realize we keep these companies going im satisfied very clean friendly and equipped with state of the art equipment thanks everyone. It takes a team !!! God Bless. My wife was referred to here by her optometrist for an eye exam in January. They claimed they were covered by our insurance and we just need to pay a co-pay of $40. The exam was ok, nothing came out abnormal. However, in February, I received a bill of $500ish from them. I called their billing department multiple times trying to figure out what the problem was. The lady handling insurance admitted it may be a claim issue and they would fix it. I paid the co-pay part and thought it would be the end of the story. Now in August, this clinic began to send bills to us again. This time, it's $469, basically still the same issue that has never been fixed. I tried to call their billing department again, but went directly to the voice mail.
Please fix your system and stop harassing the patients.
