When it works, it works. Good luck if it doesn't, becuase you're on your own.
Our Schlage locks (we have 16 units at one property and 11 at another) are all online and are online within RemoteLock. For whatever reason they stopped syncing back and forth. This happened shortly before check-in time on Sunday. Imagine my frustration having 10+ people trying to check in all around the same time and none of their codes work.
RemoteLock support doesn't work on Sunday. And there's no phone number to call. I submitted a ticket on Sunday and sent an email directly to support early monday morning. This is an "SOS" type situation and it's complete radio silence. Extremely frustrating having a critical part of our business like this just stop working for no reason and not have a way to immediately speak with someone about it. Guess I'm stuck manually creating codes till someone decides to get back to me.

Absolute joke of a company. Our account rep quit and we were kicked to “self serv” without any notice. Support takes over a week to respond. Constant problems with their system syncing with locks despite locks working on kwikset/schlage software. The long we worked with them the more it all felt like one giant scam. We manage 60+ vacation rentals for reference.

I installed three 5i deadbolt wifi locks two weeks ago. The hardware instructions easily got me through the install, and the super clear connection instructions got the locks on my network with users set up. Kudos on really strong documentation and quick response from the support team.

I had an issue with some locks I bought at Home Depot for my rentals. RemoteLock helped me get them up and running with their software even though I didn’t buy the locks from them! Thank you!

Decent lock but horrible customer service *Edit* No I didn't get an immediate response from Remotelock. In fact I didn't receive ANY response for 4 days. And when I did get a response, the support person was generally uninformed and was unable to fix the issue. He promised a follow up from a "tier 2" support person, but 2 days later I'm still waiting. The company does not answer its phone (only provides one number publicly)... making you wait on hold for 10 minutes before prompting you to leave a voice mail which is equally pointless. I'm amazed that this company survives given this level of customer service!

EDIT: I finally received an email from RemoteLock addressing my issue. I’m 100% happy with the resolution, I just wish they’d respond in a more timely manner. I’m changing my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Original: I love the lock but the support is terrible. I sent an email last week and still haven't heard back. I called in the next day and waited on hold (ironically, while listening to "your call is very important" every 30 seconds) for 10-15 minutes before choosing option 1 to leave a message. Still haven't heard a peep. Nada, zip, nothing.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We bought 5 locks from them about paid about $250 per lock. Their customer support is horrible. Like beyond horrible. We run a cabin rental business and they take days to get back with you. Our account has been down for over 24 hours and nothing from them. People can't get into our cabins and these people have zero clue what they are doing.

Don't buy their locks.......go somewhere else, buy someone else's products. When stuff goes wrong it goes really wrong and they arent around to help.

UPDATE: I had two support techs respond, one by phone, one by email. It only took Tom a minute to determine I had a developer app not user app. All is well now. It just took a long time to get a response.
FIRST REVIEW: I’ve encountered some bad technical support before but never as bad as Remote Lock. I don’t think there’s anybody there they put you on hold play really bad music for about 10 minutes and then they dump you in voicemail and nobody ever returned your phone call. my goal is to try to find another company that actually has customer service. I would stay very far away from Remote Lock.
