If I could give it no stars I would. POS never works. Had 4 techs come out in the last 2 weeks. Supposed to have one today 8am to 11am window. It's now 12 noon and no signs of a tech. Now the tech isn't answering the phone. Century link worked fine but this crap is worse that dial up Internet when it does work. I advise nobody get this service.

Whatever you do, do not sign up with this corporation, they scam you out of money even after you quit. I had terrible service for months, called and asked if everything was OK numerous times only to be told "yeah your service is fine." I was paying for 3 GIGS, but was getting way slower service then when I had 1 gig with Comcast. I returned the equipment put in my house way before the deadline, and they still charged me 150 for some reason. They have no customer service, I called and tried to get my money and that was a waste time.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE. SERVICE SUCKS, ALL THE WAY AROUND.

Had a salesman come into my business and offer Quantum as an alternative to Comcast which has a monopoly in the area. I recently signed up online and got an appointment set up for install. They said they would confirm the appointment after they confirmed the internet was available where I am.
Appointment was confirmed.
So I come in on my day off only for the tech (who reeked of smoke and was extremely rude and condesending) to A. Show up late and B. Promptly tell me that I don't know the building I'm in and C. Take 3 minutes to look around and announce they don't have internet and then leave.

I call the "customer service" who told me essentially nothing aside from they'll get internet in the area sometime. He insisted I wasn't charged even though I have the receipt and everything that I was.

Do not bother with them

I tried calling to set up service because I wanted to use my own equipment but the website did not have that option. I've never had so much trouble giving people my money. 😂

Hilariously under trained customer service department... The first person I spoke to insisted that it was impossible. She told me that the tech would have to leave their leased equipment. Here's the kicker, it's at zero cost but .. the fine print says that can change at any time. 😅 When I asked to speak to someone else, she hung up on me.

I decided that perhaps it was just one bad employee, so I called back. The second lady was more helpful but also insisted the same thing. I promptly asked to speak to a manager, and was placed on a long hold. After a while, she came back on and told me that I can use my equipment but unlike every other company in the industry, they cannot troubleshoot my account if something goes wrong. 😂😅This is absurd if you know ANYTHING about how this stuff works.

To this I said fine, whatever, and politely asked what type of modem their network requires. She didn't know and didn't even try to look it up. She insisted that the tech would tell me at install. Then she asked if I wanted to be put on hold for a manager (I had already waited for 10 min to speak to one but never was connected). I chuckled at the absurdity of the situation and that seemed to offend her.

Here's the kicker, this info is on their faq. How rinkeydink you gotta be as a company that your customer service dept doesn't even know their own faq?!

They also will not take your order via phone.

Rescheduled a maintenance visit today between 130 and three. My husband stayed home from work. We received a text message that they were coming. However, no one showed up. It is now 6 o’clock at night and we still do not have Internet and no word from this company. Horrible customer service. I plan on changing providers.

Internet has been out for 2 days. I’ve called 3 times waiting on hold for 40 min each time. Each time they tell me there’s an outage in my area (even though they’re own website says there is no outage). They give no time frame for when it will be resolved and their only resolution is to refund you the days of the outage. So $5 when I couldn’t work for 2 days. Horribly incompetent company 0 stars.

Quantum internet customer services are horrendous, which is unfortunate because their staff is doing their best and it is a fault of the company’s business model.

The internet services itself is usually fine, but cross your fingers you never run into any issues with the connection.

Poor services range from poor communication while establishing services, long wait times between each stage of establishing services, long delays in resolving issues which can leave you without internet for prolonged periods, disconnecting calls or poor connection amidst calls to customer service reps which generally entail being bounced around to different departments.

Icing on top; the best a manager/supervisor can do is convey your concerns to unidentified leadership as there is no internal department within this nationwide company to report dissatisfaction with services, so your best bet is to report issues to the BBB.

I really appreciated that quantum sponsored the wash park firehouse pancake breakfast, however, the woman they had working the booth did not leave a positive impression. She had no patience for children, and quite unprofessional.
