Dr Joann Rodgers is the worst Dr I ever encountered. She is very insensitive and dismisses everything you say. I would never recommend her and honestly don't know how she is even a Dr. She doesn't care about her patients, I dreaded going to see her until I found another Dr. You should be able to speak to your doctor about anything and not feel bad. She always made me feel bad after leaving. Horrible!

This place really is a joke. Ever since they switched to pulse, it's just been down hill from there. I can't believe the Padilla family let this office get to this point. I'm not even sure if they are still affiliated, but they sure like to drop the name on the website. There are better places around. The doctor talking in the background was so unprofessional. Worst experience at a doctors office i ever had.

This pertains to the Katy, Tx location. I was a patient of Dr. Pezzia before Pulse took over. The care has gone downhill fast. The staff treats you as a bother instead of a patient. Trying to call and speak with someone is a joke. The Doctor doesn't seem to like his job as he doesn't listen to you or give you an answer that makes sense. I am now shopping for a new doctor.

I was going to this clinic seeing Cassandra and Dr. Roger’s for a few years. They told me I was diabetic and had high blood pressure. When I complained about my shortness of breath and chest pains Dr. Rogers told me that it’s cause I was over weight. She dismissed me the last time I was in to see her. She told me not to be looking up my Symptoms cause I’m am not a medical professional, not knowing that I been in the medical field for 17 years! I decided to look for medical help elsewhere. Come to find out I have a stomach ulcer and my potassium was high. Both causes shortness of breath and chest pains. She did not listen to me when I knew something was wrong within my body. I did not need diabetic medication or high blood pressure medication. All she did was keep telling me to take pills. I am grateful that I finally found a doctor that would listen to me and figure out what is going on within my body! She seemed to only be seeing pts for the money. She is not in it to help patients.

Having a doctor’s office that is open on the weekend is great. The NP Cassandra Shipman Wadley, and the entire weekend staff provides excellent care and friendly services.

I had been going there for 11 years. Pulse took over and the facility just went to total chaos. Priscilla was made office Mgr and is truly unqualified and unsympathetic to hold that position. When Dr. Rodgers found out I had cancer, they no longer accepted my insurance! It's very unfortunate that a person going through the worst time in thier life, to be discarded by your dr. The one your supposed to trust. I went through a depression period and pulse was part of it because I had to find a new pc. Thank God I did and she takes care of my medical needs along with my cancer concerns. I am now in remission as of Feb 2. To just think a facility you've been with for over 10 years just leaves you for dead! Pulse downtown is the most horrible experience I've ever had once Priscilla became manager and the place has gone down down down.. The pharmacy inside closed because a lack of patients....I have absolutely no regrets expressing my pure remorse and distain for Pulse downtown, it's Mgr, and Dr Rodgers......
The staff is beautiful, just get rid of Priscilla and that moody dr Rodgers

Over a decade of visits, and I've watched this clinic change—some good, some sad. It's tough to see the Canal Pharmacy go after 43 years. Still, the staff's efficiency and helpfulness during my recent visit were as reliable as ever.

Honestly this is the worst doctor I’ve ever been to! First they say I have hypertension when I only told the doctor it ran in my family, somehow she put on there that I had it as well, when my vitals have always been good, I told her it ran in my family and on my records she left it as I have hypertension. Second I’ve been trying to ge them to send my information to the Byram health care for a glucose monitor, i have tons of emails and calls with byram where they have sent them a request for my records all they need is for my doctor to send the prescription, they have not yet done it! I made an appointment to go and tell them myself, they never sent it, I have called them several times I explained to the lady who answers phone calls what was going on, by the way she knows who I am I’ve always been completely nice, but she said to me after I explained everything, “I’m sorry I don’t get what you’re saying” and she proceeded to put me on hold for ONE HOUR, I have screenshots of everything! They finally answered after 1hr and 10 minutes the lady told me “sorry we haven’t forgot about you else we’re in lunch” I told her okay she could’ve let me know at least, then she said she was gonna search for my information and give a call back, NO. Call back has happened. I also called the main center for the Pulse clinic, and I was told they were gonna give me a call back, also never received a call back. This is ongoing and ridiculous! Let’s not talk about how they make you wait more than an hour after your appointments, like what? My first incident with them was when I had requested my lab results to be explained nobody did, they were completely rude and I went to get a heart scan, and I simply asked to see my doctor so she could explain some other test results sent by me and they told me to make another appointment a different day, when I was already there. Trust me these are not the only times that I’ve had issues with this clinic, I can keep on going. I never write reviews but it’s the only thing I can do when not even their corporate answers your questions and hangs up on you. Very unprofessional place.
