Went to ship a box to my daughter out of state. Their quote was $73 for UPS Ground, I knew it should be way less, because I calculated prior. So I thanked them for their time, picked up my box and drove 2 mins further to CV Pharmacy…. Same box was $54 to ship from there. I expect an upcharge of course… but 35%? Nope. Never again.

They're so unprofessional.
I went in there to ship out my husbands ID and Passport for second day shipping.
I SPECIFICALLY asked the girl if I would be able to send them out to USPS .
She replied "YES" I even showed her the picture of the googled address and you can see the picture of it being USPS.
Now after 2 weeks those IDs got return and my husband misses some DMV appointments and flights.
I had to pay $70 for that shipping.

The manager is spoke to Shawna was extreme unprofessional, loud and rude.
She said it was my fault for signing and telling her employee crystal that, that USPS takes FEDEX.

How was it suppose to know this?
That is the reason I asked! I don't work there, they should know this Information.
As a client I go and ask and get help since they're the professionals and this is what they do on a daily.

Now I'm left minué -$70 for the shipping, having to repay for them to get shipped again. Missing flights.

And on top of that THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME $15 for the cards being
Send back.

lBlaming your mistake as a worker knowing this information on your client. I signed that receipt because I trusted your employee and the Information she gave me.

So upsetting how little customer service you have. Specially coming from the manager. So unprofessionally.

I called here from Northern CA and went in to get a box for our move. They were professional on the phone and they were professional in person. This is the type of place that people are required to often pay for things they do not want to and are not particularly happy about it. Therefore, the reviews can often be lower than one would give a place they want to be spending money. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

This place is so convenient! I use them to ship items I sell on Etsy. They are always careful and gentle with my packages, ensuring they make it to the buyer safely. I love that I don’t have to drive all the way to the USPS store, such a time saver 🥳

Like others I was charged double what UPS would have charged at one of their stores. A reasonable amount added as a service charge would be acceptable but not this: about $76 on what would have been about $38. I won't use this store for any of their services again.

What a shocking rip-off. This place charges a 100% mark up on shipping and I figured it out too little, too late. Unfortunately I was sick the day I went in there and didn't realize what was happening until the deed was done. The clerk charged me $34.94 to ship a package to Portland. I noticed when she placed the shipping label on the box that it said the postage paid was only $17.47 though, exactly half what I was charged. Asking the clerk about the disparity, she said she had no idea why it said that. Checking my receipt after I left the store, I called back, thinking she had mistakenly double charged me. Nope, she explained to me that is how the owner had set the computer up to calculate shipping charges. Now, I realized I had actually just been ripped off....wonderful! I went back in and asked for my money and package back and the clerk said no refunds on postage. I told her that is ridiculous and that there were no signs posted to that effect and to please contact the manager. She called the owner on the phone, explained the situation to him and he refused to refund my money. He sounded fairly irate actually, as I could hear his elevated tone through the phone from across the counter. He also refused to talk with me when I asked, and promptly hung up with her.

Bottom line, don't make the mistake I made. The guy that owns this place must have flunked business ethics class. He is a shameful excuse for a businessman and is making capitalism look like a money making scam. Avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy being ripped-off.

Just returned home after shipping a package from Postal Annex and could not be more pleased. Friendly employee and highly competent in her job. I have used this place for years and never had a negative experience so I don't understand the negative posts. Perhaps they tell us more about the poster than the store and it's employees.
