This is one of the best BX I have been to. It is one of the largest as well. Not as big as Barksdale AFB I believe but it is cleaner and better organized.

I have been shopping here with my husband both active duty and veteran for the entirety of the time we’ve been stationed here and was disappointed for the first time when I went to return an item I had just bought 1 day ago and it was rejected by the customer service employee saying that it was not brand new and could not be returned. I am extremely disappointed since I paid 50 dollars for this item to be rejected 1 day later in excellent condition with the receipt. I guess the return policy doesn’t matter.

Today I decided to stop in the Taco Bell which was great! Lo and behold something started 'ring a ding dinging' on my booty crack so I had to check out the bathroom. Pleasant experience with a nice ambience🤌

The really old Asian lady in the barber shop will screw your hair up, then blame it on you and get mad at you for it. She doesn't know what a simple low fade means. If she would've kept cutting my hair I would've left out of there with a high and tight. I asked her why she was cutting the top of my head so short when all I asked for was a low fade and nothing off the top. She started cleaning up after a minute of cutting and said she wouldn't charge me for it. Let that sink in....She literally left me with a half done haircut and told me she wouldn't charge me for it. Another barber had to step in and offered to fix my hair, free of charge.

Peterson AFB is among the largest in the Colorado Springs area and has a wide variety of everything available to service members and their families in awesome pricing and deals, especially with the sale markdown prices!! The location combined with the commissary is truly a one stop shopping for all your needs! The underpaid staff are always kind and helpful, despite not being paid their worth as essential personnel!! As a long time patron, able to compare in years and locations, this store offers more than most AAFES throughout the USA and Europe!! You are all so very much appreciated! A lifeline of military community HOPE in the darkness our world has become!! Thanking GOD that you are a party of my 15 minute gridded city and meet all my needs for food, items, and clothing! Pretty nice BX. Clean, well organized, not too cramped with stuff. Friendly people overall. Pretty good stock Of different items but definitely make sure to check/compare prices to the commissary because sometimes they’re much pricier (dog food, for example). But great convenience for if you need to pick up something real quick. They sometimes have cool seasonal items, like this singing Grinch thing, or good clearance prices!

This BX has all your everyday needs. It also opens 1 hour earlier than the other BXs and PXs in the area. There is also a commissary adjacent to the BX.
