It is an "Okay" IT bootcamp. There is one instructor for the entire program. Most of what was learned here can be self-taught as the entire course and teamgroups can be accessed online. There was barely any physical hands-on. They have "virtual hands-on" through labs. The only real benefit I believe was the classroom setting which can help with focus and were you can ask questions and get quick answers. They don't aim on you passing the certs. Mostly just threw out a bunch a knowledge without a real clear path towards getting your certs. You WILL have to self-study anyway if you really want to pass all certs. Would I recommend it? Not at the 25k price point. Especially now with the IT field becoming more competitive than ever. If you have the money to blow, it is good way to peak your interest in the industry.

Coming to this school, I had the expectation that after it I would have a great foundation in technical skills. In fact- I was wrong- after this program I had a SOLID foundation in areas of troubleshooting computers, networking, cybersecurity & Active Directory. My experience with PC-Age career institute is overall a positive one. Once you step foot on campus you will be greeted with kind and supportive staff & teachers. Even though most of my learning was during the pandemic, I had a great knowledge of various certifications from A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA & windows Server 2016. My advice to anyone who is considering this as a school to go to would be this:
DO NOT GO unless you have a genuine passion for technology. You will face hurdles with the amount of complex information that the teachers will give to you. However if you are considering going because you feel this would replace a 4 year degree, don’t be fooled, once you leave you are competing with people with a 4 year degree. However the good news is that if you put in the work and get every certification they teach you you will make a great amount of money. They have a great career center where they help hard working candidates find great jobs.

Now the negative side:
It’s overload of information
Not much Hands on experience with computers
Mostly theory based to pass an exam(however they do have lab assignments which are crucial skills in the workplace)
They need a professional development program where they teach you how to interview for high advanced roles and how to approach tech careers

Final verdict:(If I had the chance to go again):
* Understand your learning style
* Invest in buying your textbooks in physical copy
* Pass every official certification
* If you don’t understand a concept break it down by using ChatGPT

Hopefully you won't get Dennis as the Professor..his teaching style is not only too fast but he also just rambles on too much and you end up feeling overwhelmed/bored. Also displays frustration on students who are not understanding the material, which is not professional. Other than that, the school itself has a welcoming environment with friendly folks such as Kristen and Cheryl, who were very supportive and make sure that us students at least find a good job afterwards and succeed.

Love the school. everything about the staff and the teachers are super Kind and flexible with everything that suits go through in their personal lives and with school. Shout out to Dennis, Paul, Veena, Kristen, Cheryl, and the entire PC Age of Metropark campus! PC Age gave me the tools to succeed in the real world of Information Technology/Security. Between their Career and Student Services departments, the teachers/employees were extremely helpful every step of the way. If the student puts as much time in outside of the classroom as they do learning inside of the classroom, they will be able to get the most out of this program. Graduating with a high GPA and 3 certifications, I was able to land 2 job offers before graduating. The school provides all the necessary materials to succeed and obtain certifications recognized by employers. The Career Services department even assists you with a job search. Overall, past year spent at school was the right choice for me and I look forward to starting my career in the real world.

In my opinion one of the best computer training schools ,i had the pleasure of attending. The atmosphere was truly amazing with the staff and teachers especially Cheryl McQuay and Kristen Murray. Where in particular they didn't just view you as a number but as induvial who they wanted the best possible outcome to succeed they wanted it just as much as you. Teachers and staff always wanted us to proceed with the best course of action if things where getting to difficult, there was always a outcome that was considered for resolve. Pc age is a place that really wants you to succeed in a ever growing profession, and there truly passionate about it just as much as you are.
