The Planning Department of Palm Springs has decided to make it almost impossible for restaurants to keep their outside dinning while the omicron covid virus is raging out of control. Their actions imply that money is much more important to them than the health and safety of the public. They could easily extend the provisions that allowed outdoor dining but have cold heartedly decided that money is more important. It won't surprise me if they then ban indoor dining after forcing restaurants to remove their outdoor spaces.

I don't know if planning offices need reviews, but I will say after filing solar plans in many city offices in CA, I wouldn't complain if they were all like this. There's rarely a wait, and the processing time took less than what was promised, by a couple of days. One person in particular (I think her name was Diana?) came out to greet me after I signed in to make sure my time went smoothly. I hope to do more business here.
