Nourishment Works is fabulous. When I started recovering from my eating disorder, my self-love was in the negative. My dietitian, Gia, helped me understand how my body works and how to reward myself to create lasting healthy behaviors. Within a few weeks, I found myself appreciating my body in ways I never had before, all while releasing the negative thought patterns of my eating disorder and building a genuine love for food and even cooking! I also joined Heather's group sessions, which connected me with other people going through similar struggles and provided amazing resources to build upon my progress. Today, I'm proud to have my ED completely under control in a way I didn't know was possible. NW truly helped me internalize the fact that all bodies are good bodies, and I can safely say that my body is now my favorite one! No more comparisons, no more second-guessing my food and movement choices, and nothing but time to be creative, love my friends and family, and enjoy life.

I am so grateful for this place! Kathy is such an amazing person and I would not be where I am today without her. She has guided me through every step of recovering from an eating disorder in the most gentle yet effective way. Kathy is a great listener and she has been able to help me reframe my thoughts and beliefs about food in ways that I had never even considered. I would have never believed that I could have made this much progress, but Kathy has made that possible. If you are someone that is hesitating to take the step to get help because of a fear of it being too intense, I highly recommend that you see Kathy, or probably anyone else that works here, because Kathy has this way of making things seem super approachable. She is such a welcoming person who I am so glad to be working with.
