Service Requested: Artwork digitizing

Quality: Shoddy work, dark on corners and often need to redo artwork. Priced very highly for job. Forced to use this company since there aren't many options for digital scanning of artwork.

Why I am writing this review:
I want to tell people that respect artists or are artists DO NOT GO HERE. If I can paint a picture, the client relations I experienced was a lot like what you experience at the DMV.

Very disrespectful and treating my jobs like they were doing me a favor even when they asked me for extra fees to complete jobs. At some points I would use their already edited files to send to another place to fix this place’s mistakes because I just didn’t want to deal with the attitude and the talking down. They have an attitude of doing business akin to not me being an actual paying client, but more like a deadbeat son dropping by to ask them if I could borrow their car. "Why didn't you call first? I told you to call before you came here"

Their work is not good and you cannot go back and forth with them. Once the job is done and you find an issue they make it YOUR problem, it’s never theirs and they will give major defensive attitude. They will charge you extra to correct THEIR mistakes while gaslighting you that it’s not a mistake on their end and "What do you want me to do about it?"

They greatly wasted my time today. The absolute last straw (on a mountain of straws) was when I came in, after the digitizer wasted my entire afternoon driving back and forth from their office was that the digitizer would not stop her chitchatting with her coworker and just continued to talk to them and did the "wait a minute finger" at me and did this contemptuous look. Would you want to be treated like this by a business you give hundreds of dollars a job to digitize artwork?

If this wasn't small town NH this place would be out of business or everyone would be fired because in a normal company you want to gain clients, not be so rude as to drive them away and to refuse jobs that "Take too long and don't interest you". Also maybe hire someone younger who isn't so clearly burnt out and doesn't want to be there/can actually digitize artwork correctly.

My mistake was going there for so long because I really had no other options. I do not want anyone else to get burnt the way that I did or feel like they have to get treated with disrespect and feel like this is normal. (For a long time, I just swallowed it, just so I could get at least the rough files to send to someone else) But there are places where you drop off with no issue and they treat you with respect and even if they do make mistakes, they own up to it and fix it. I have to do a better job searching because quality of service here is poor.

All of my experiences with Northeast Digital Imaging have been exemplary. The fine art reproductions of my original artwork, in addition to custom framing each one, have given me the most professional, high quality products. Jean Abate has an innate sense of color, texture and design in creating my cards, prints and framing my watercolors. She has great ideas to consider, is always so easy to work with and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Zip Corning produced a table cover for me with one of my art designs imprinted on it. He was so helpful to explain the entire process, with options available to suit my needs. I was so very pleased with the end result.

When placing my orders, there is always plenty of collaboration time spent beforehand so that the end result produced is of the best possible outcome. The follow through and updates on any issues with an order are conveyed in such a timely fashion. I am continually amazed at how quickly orders are completed and at a reasonable cost as well.

Kudos to Joe Gannuscio and his highly skilled team for their outstanding customer service, to include their exceptional and innovative skills.

I have been trying for quite some time to find someone to light and photograph my traditional paintings at a reasonable price and after all this time, it turns out the person to see is Jean Abate at Northeast Digital Imagining! These guys (and girls!) are awesome. I've used them for everything from 2' posters to 15' building signs. Seems like there's not much they can't do when it comes to print! The customer service is top notch...they've helped me with last minute 'emergencies' and delivered to my clients in a flash.
