The type of business that gives a small business like ours a bad name, even when we do our job. They had an employee (Ms. St. Elien) who was combative, unreasonable and arrogant from the start. In retrospect, some business is not all good and we should have proceeded with caution. We produced beautiful crystal awards for her and NJTC; we told her the awards would need to be picked up before the weekend but she failed to pick up and blamed us for not being open weekend hours that met her schedule. This was not only communicated verbally several times but our business hours are noted on all correspondence and invoices. We then made arrangements to have her awards picked up next door at a neighboring store in our strip mall. While this was an ideal solution, she was simply one of these people who loves to go online and destroy a business with 22 years of exemplary service to the community because she was mildly inconvenienced but moreover, was spiteful and knew the operating hours and wanted to bend us to her will. The awards were perfect, solution achieved and she reciprocated by posting a slanderous comment on our review site. Turnabout is fair play I guess. An organization is only as good as the character of the people they employee.
