I was really disappointed with my experience at Newton & Associates. I was charged a $225 deposit for a consultation that didn’t provide much value, and honestly, it felt like a waste of time and money. After shopping around, I found other professionals with much more fair pricing and a more transparent, ethical approach. Charging that much for an initial conversation just didn’t sit right with me. Not to mention, Kevin made multiple gestures towards things that would "make him more money" and I didn't feel like he had me and my business in his best interest. It felt scammy, and unethical to be blunt. Even after talking with other professionals, it seems very abnormal to charge for a basic preliminary conversation, even in this industry. Unfortunately I reached out to them regarding my concerns and they refused to refund me. As a business owner myself, this would not have been my approach. It really goes to show that they do not care about their customer relationships. They are money hungry and clearly need that $225 of mine! I wouldn’t recommend this firm based on my experience. Take your money elsewhere!

Been doing my taxes for them the last 10+ years. Always been good.Last two years they have dropped the ball. This year they decided the small guy isn't worth their time. 3 months no response, when I called them today to ask where my taxes are the just gave me excuses. When I tried to ask some questions, the secretary hung up on me, saying her day was over.
