I filed a complaint with NV Post about Silver State Law Enforcement Academy (SSLEA). Executive Director Mike Sherlock said that no action would be taken because SSLEA is not currently in operation. I then requested that SSLEA be removed from NV Post website, because it is a violation of NRS 598 Deceptive Business Practices to be advertising a company that is not in business. Mike Sherlock stated he will not be removing links to SSLEA from the NV Post website. The failure for Mike Sherlock to due his job is unprofessional and a dereliction of duty. The citizens of NV should not be paying to advertise for a private for profit company, let alone one that is not currently in operation.

Superb! Nevada POST is a premier law enforcement training center. This is where I attended and have returned several times for advanced training courses. Nevada POST produces a serious level of LE professional's. Their methodology and core structure builds confidence in our new officers, meeting the needs of modern day Policing, while building on the core values of the American Police Officer.
