Shoddy workmanship which has caused damage to my house. This was the company’s response to the damage, “this water damage to your siding is not very common, we've seen
about 1 or 2 cases of this in the past. The siding should be able to withstand this amount of moisture and ice so that would be a siding
manufacturer issue, or not being weatherproofed correctly.”

MTN Inc wanted set something up and charge me $150 (labor and trip charge) to fix their poor workmanship. IMO, there are several factors that caused the damage to my house outside of weatherproofing.

First of all, there is no moisture mitigation at the top of the outlet which would prevent rain and snow from coming back into the pipe. Most companies would use a 90° pipe to prevent rain/snow from entering the outlet (look around your neighborhood).

Second of all, the sealant the used must’ve been a low grade due to the fact that it has dry rotted from the house, to the fan unit, and up the pipe (look at the pictures).

Finally, look at how they installed the pipe brackets. No amount of weatherproofing would’ve mitigated the damage caused by the shoddy installation of the brackets.

I was on the side of the road with a flat tire and a truck from this company pulled up and asked if I needed help. I usually don’t take help from others but I didn’t have much of a choice as I didn’t have the necessary tools. I would like to say thank you to MTN inc and the individuals for helping me change my spare tire. True act of kindness and it shows that good company’s and people still exist.

On Lake Ave in Colorado Springs,
One of your employees tried to force himself into my lane, majorly drove over the speed limit and nearly caused an accident with me…
He forced me over into the other lane of traffic…
Not sure what the emergency was,
But not worth causing another accident!!
