I bought the Manufacturing Plus Optimizer. Primarily for the optimizer. The optimizer does not work. A bug perhaps? The real problem starts when, after three weeks, I still have no solution from Tech support, and the call-in line cannot help in any way. This is a lot of money for a monthly program that takes (3 weeks and counting) to solve a problem. I purchased this software to solve a problem, and it hasn't performed the primary function I purchased it for.
I DO NOT recommend this software for cabinet shops.
I'll gladly update my review if this gets handled.

If the customer service was 1/5 as useful as it is rude, this software would be the staple of the industry.

The company is modeled very greedily (they wont teach you how to use the software unless you pay 150$ per hour class), putting that aside their customer service is unprofessional and rude, and if you ask the most basic question they will kindly remind you to reserve a class with one of their technician. If you decide to spend the money on the class, you will find out that the teacher is only there to answer your questions, meaning, they won't give you a general overlook of all the features of the software, they want you to ask the questions, so that if there's some basic notions that you forgot to ask, you will kindly be reminded, again, that you have to book a class to know.
To sum this up, save your money and find a different alternative to run your CNC machine.

I really like this software but I’m only comparing it to vcarve not cabinet vision. First I love the cnc dovetail drawer boxes. I also love that it spits out a sketchup file, a cnc file and shop drawings when you drag a cabinet over. Huge time saver. Love it.
