Same show, different year. No competition, terrible 'leadership' zero accountability to its members. Too busy making plays in fiber optics. Making tons of money with an office vibe straight out of 1980. Filthy. Trust.

When I started my service I was asked to pay a $300 deposit. I have had decent payment history. Recently I got a notice that I got disconnected. I am currently dealing with my wife's health issues and forgot to pay. I called and was told there would be a $75 reconnection fee. I was ok with that since it was my mistake. The lady then tells me that I am also being hit with a second deposit of $250 for getting disconnected? How does this make sense? If I were struggling to make my payment and got disconnected, how the heck do they expect their customers to pay an additional deposit on top of what is already due? I have never heard of this by any electric company. This is flat out robbery and taking advantage of customers. Makes me sick to think this is the only option in my area.

I only give them one star because it is not possible to give them zero stars. I have been a customer of thiers since 2017 when I bought my home. No problems until thier "autopay" system failed. Not my fault then this month have been charged a 200 fee and a 300 dollar deposit. This is criminal. I would gladly pay more even double if another company was to provide service in my area and I never had to deal with them again.

I never had an issue with Mountain view till today. While working I lost power and when I logged into my account I saw my account was disconnected. I was told they weren't able to call me but an email was sent. I unfortunately didn't receive an email and now having to pay a deposit, reconnecting fee plus my bill. I e always pay my bill on time and disappointed at the fact that they wouldn't work with me to resolve this and without having to pay all of these fees seems like a scam to me. Wonderful start to my holiday season.

I have never in my life (and living in various parts of the country!) dealt with such a HORRIBLE electric company. I once again, came home to my electric shut off, in below 25 degree weather, with no solution other than to pay a $200 reconnect fee plus my bill tonight adding up to a whooping $334 fee that I just do not have. I have no heat, no running water (well pump is electric). IThe house smelled like there was a gas leak because the electric was disconnected with the furnace running and all they could tell me was to “take”’y family “somewhere safe” as if I can afford to stay in a hotel and then pay them an absurd amount of money tomorrow. I have had to replace everything in my fridge three times now because this company absolutely abuses the power to shut off the electric if you’re even a day late making a payment and then demands full payment and then some if you want your electric back on. They always make it unreasonable to have it turned back on the same night and most of us don’t know it’s shut off until we get home, after business hours, because we work. If you’re a hour late making a payment, they shut your electric off. Owe them 10 cents? They’ll shut your electric off. They said I owed them a DOLLAR over the summer and disconnected me requiring a $200 reconnect fee (because I had to have them come out that day so my cattle wouldn’t die in 100 degree weather) and then, the kicker was, that once they shut my account down and settled it out they OWED ME $10.00!!! They couldn’t have used that $10 to keep my electric on to the well?! They always tack on fees, extra charges, etc. I have never in my life dealt with a company SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Their customer service is also, disturbingly awful. They abuse the fact that they are the only electric company in this area. This company should be investigated by the state.

Don’t worry, yall. I’ll just freeze to DEATH out here tonight. Can’t make any money off a dead person 🤷🏼‍♀️

Absolutely awful in every aspect. Can we get some competition please? If there was any other electric company out here maybe they would learn how to treat their customers and act with some kind of sense of urgency
