Train station with interesting design and restrooms.

There isn't much seating and the wait times can be really long. There are only restrooms on the BART side. Also, there isn't food nearby, but you can find something if you're willing to walk. Caltrain is really loud compared to BART.

Such a confusing station. If you come from SFO and want to take Caltrain to San Francisco, you don’t have to use escalator, just tap out. But if you want to go to San Jose, you have to use escalator and then tap out. There is an elevator too but the smell was so bad and very slow. Should read the map before you go there.

So many homeless people and very dirty. I would always recommend taking Caltrain instead to avoid this confusing station at all costs! Parking is impossible and so expensive…. Stay away! Saw too many things I don’t want to

Connections between BART and Caltrain are not the best. The ECR bus doesn’t come directly to the station. The station itself is aesthetically pleasing and has sufficient escalators, elevators, and ticket machines. Somewhat disappointing for such a major transit interchange.

Opinion of a French traveler : Milbrae station forms the junction between the terminus of the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) network and the Caltrain network which serves San Francisco. The architecture of the building is interesting; the signage of the two railway networks is clear and the passage from one to the other is done without difficulty.

When transferring from CalTrain to the San Francisco airport, by your Clipper card at the machine, swipe your new card to pass through the gates to the BART side of the station. The cost is $3 for the Clipper card and under $5 for the ride. The ride to SFO is less than 10 minutes.

One of the most convenient stations where BART and Caltrain actually connects. It's the only train station that has done it the right way.

Who in the right mind would design the train stations from 2 different transits to be so far from one another.

It's a very quick way to get to and from San Jose. You can really cut down on commute time by taking a mini bullet... limited stops. But ask for help because they don't tell you clearly which train is stopping and the published schedule is not always correct.
