Changed email due to this issue and password both less than 2 months ago, and the email is specifically used on Microsoft, so microsoft has a leak on their system allowing overseas people your email and possible other information. Only other possible scenario is yahoo.
But bottom line, why is microsoft not blocking these people from trying to access their customers accounts?

My wallpaper changed pictures without my permission. It was costly to discover the issue on my recently purchased laptop.

6 days ago my wallpaper changed on my homescreen to a creepy picture of 4 men staring at the camera, hence me. My first thought was my 6 month old laptop was compromised with a virus. I ran Malwarebytes found no viruses, I have PopUp blockers on Chrome/Firefox, I clear my cookies and cache requently. I chatted online with Best Buy Geek Squad who couldn't figure out the problem but alarmed me when they suggested someone may be hacking into it. I took it to a local computer repair store on referral by a tech friend.
2.5 hours of driving plus $149 later after diagnosing they told me: Groove Music changes my wallpaper when I listen to music with that app. All I need to do is deselect that option.
It's not as if that app changed the wallpaper on THE FIRST day I listened to music about three weeks ago after which I may have solved the issue myself. Picture was NOT an album cover. How about alerting customer to unselect that option if unwanted? A lot of stress, time and $ spent. I am livid

We bought the UFC Maywearther V. McGregor fight pass for $100. The program never connected through our TV. We never got the fight to work through the Xbox (our TV and Xbox are fine). We were told to contact Neulion then UFC then Microsoft in regards to a refund. We have been told for over a month to be patient and wait for everything to be processed. Tried calling again today and told since it's been over a month they won't refund us. Bad customer service. We have tried to be patient. Spending 5+ hours on the phone on hold with people is not how you should do business.

Not sure what this office does, or why they are expanding in this area, but they keep doing so. As a Senior Software Consultant who has had to use Microsoft products daily for years, I can say that the quality of Microsoft products is horrible and getting worse all the time. Can't say that I have any use for Microsoft, as my household has switched to Linux and eliminated all the constant obtrusive updates which seem to crash things more than fixing anything.
