Every now and then you happen upon a place where you are unexpectedly treated better than perhaps you deserve. For me, that place is this beautiful little gathering place in the middle of an otherwise fairly nondescript part of town. What stands out about this place? I’m glad that you asked! It’s certainly not the physical building which, while clean and inviting is worn from what is likely years, if not decades of constant use and a smaller capital investment than similar facilities. What separates this place from the pack are the people. It’s how you are received upon entering the two main doors and the attention given to your needs, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant it may be. I wish people of influence would take note and reward this facility and its unsung heroes with not just the recognition that they are past due in receiving but also with money and opportunities that seem to have intentionally been directed elsewhere. I personally want to thank the folks at Meadows for serving the Stratton Meadows neighborhood and extended community well for over four decades!

This has always been a nice center and park for families! We went to a Welcome Waggin for our pup put on by the HSPPR. Got his shots and registration. Always something cool going on.

For those who don't know this place has a food bank Thursdays from 12:30 to 1:30. It is all great food from whole foods and trader Joe's. There are closed this Thursday the 15 but will reopen next week.

Lots of freedom for campers, and lots of activities for the public too, they have a community bike shed, that anybody can use. My son lives coming here. We miss Mr Bob why was a greatgreat male influence.

A great place for the community to gather. After school programs for the kiddos, lunches for the elderly, commodities, or food distribution, for people in need! A very dedicated staff that is willing to go the extra mile for anyone that needs help! They offer a variety of ways to help people.

What a great community center. It is run by people who are great at their job and know what they're doing. Every Friday they do a feast boutique and have great foods from Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and other stores.
