Went off season in September for 2 nights at an amazingly low price and it was lovely! My only complaint is the very strong floral fragrance in the lobby which if you are in the lobby for a while can be irritating. It was not a big issue for me but if you are sensitive to smells just be aware of that. Overall it was awesome. They have an elevator which is great for bringing your luggage in and out. Outdoor lounge areas are super deluxe with nice ocean views and comfy seating.

If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, beach front spot this is the place. My husband and I came with our 4 year old and we had a wonderful stay. We even tried to extend but they were fully booked. We didn’t have any issues with parking like other reviews stated- but we did stay mid week. We loved visiting Maui every morning too! Only issue is no food on site, but if you know that going in you make breakfast work (fridge and microwave in the room) The staff were so friendly as well. We will definitely come back!

Very nice place, however the lack of staff during the evening hours was a bit alarming. Calling the desk 3 times only to go downstairs and find a sign saying " see you in the morning" was to say the least ( ODD). We chose this location to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Overall a very nice stay except for the one night when, ironically - a wedding party after party decided to stay up with loud drunken discussions until 2AM. I wasn't happy about that at all. I really did like the hotel and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay there again ( provided no wedding parties were booked at the same time in a 3 block radius) 😂 we already miss Maui 🦜 he was awesome.

I think a lot of the recent changes to this hotel are just cosmetic. New carpet, paint, and upgraded furniture in the rooms look nice, but in a lot of areas, they just covered up the worn out floor, walls, etc. I’m very happy that there are now restroom downstairs by the pool. Not sure why the waterfall in the pool was needed. It’s an annoyance. There was no iron or ironing board in the room, which was inconvenient. There should also be night stands on both sides of the bed. That said, the bed was extremely comfortable and there weee plenty of pillows. Microwave needed to be replaced. Coffee maker was great, as well as the mini fridge.

First time in the Wildwood Crest region and we settled on Mahalo Diamond Beach.

The location was impressively close to the beach which is easily walkable and convenient. The room was a bit smaller than expected but the ocean-side view was breathtaking-taking as it overlooked the pool, which was nicely maintained and clean.

We ended up extending our visit one extra day and Colleen and the rest of the staff were very nice and accommodating.. we even got to stay in the same room without having to move, which was a surprise. My kid loved “Maui” the parrot, who is situated in the front desk check-in waiting to greet you.

Overall, it was a great experience.

We recently stayed at the Mahalo, it was the best experience. The staff were the most friendly staff I’ve ever met. Marge, the over night front desk attendant nothing short of incredibly. Her friendly face, willingness to accommodate was a step above. Having a shuttle available to and from the boardwalk was a nice touch. The hotel itself was clean, well equipped and the photos they offer in their description are accurate. Having snacks and drinks available was nice especially with kids.
It was close to the beach and the pool was clean and beautiful. The staff, again, I cannot say enough about them, they wished everyone a good morning/afternoon and were always smiling. Parking was great. The most enjoyable stay we’ve had at Wildwood!

Beautifully appointed hotel. Wonderful location at Jefferson St Beach. Excellent amenities. Spacious and immaculate rooms with very comfortable beds. Friendly and professional staff. The free shuttle to the boardwalk/ convention center is a very nice convenience. This is our second year at this property and we are excited to return next year.

Fantastic quick trip to Diamond Beach.
We’ve never been but will be back to this hotel for sure.
Beautiful room. Clean with a larger refrigerator and nice front room area.
Coffee pods and machine provided.
Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets.
Front desk was very helpful.
