This park was beautiful, full of families and clean with no violence or dangerous or unfriendly people or activities going on. There were several families with their dogs and it did not seem to bother others. People were boating,swimming, grilling, walking the hiking trails and enjoying the birds.

Picnic tables are first come first serve. It's a nice place to enjoy the water or have a birthday party. You can rent the pavilions for parties as well. It's clean and there are always people there having fun.

my wife and i have been here several times it is a very beautiful lake for the location, it could need a very good cleaning but that’s okay , there is only one small place to get in the water or you have to jump over a ledge to get in and just hope you don’t stub your foot on a huge rock. overall it’s not a bad lake, if you like a couple drinks and just generally a good time, this lake is for you. keep in mind that’s there’s only a couple benches to sit near the swimming area though.
overall it’s a very nice lake/ place to be for the day. we’ve never been bothered by anyone and the people have always been nice.
with the locations it’s in, you only have 2 restaurants which is a jacks and a mexican restaurant. and 2 stores which is the local piggly wiggly and a dollar general and several gas stations and one liquor store, so please keep that in mind. we will continue to come back

I didn't stay at the RV park. My family and I just went to the lake. It is always such a good time there. Great vibes good people. Awesome places to swim. Awesome fishing too

my husband and i have been here multiple times. it is a pretty great lake considering it being public. if you’re wanting to swim, there’s only one small spot to walk in, otherwise you have to jump over a ledge to get in. despite the water being murky, full of sticks, and huge pieces of concrete you’ll stub your feet on, it’s a pretty decent spot to swim just walk carefully in the water. it’s a good spot to cookout, have a family day, have a few drinks. etc. we do usually get eaten up by a TON of mosquitoes but i’m sure it could be prevented with bug spray.
with it being in florala, you have one dollar general, a jacks, and a mexican restaurant. not really suitable if you have a long drive back home. overall a pretty decent lake.

This is a small campground but very reasonably priced and all sites are full hookup. When the sun sets over the lake it is absolutely stunning! The lady who runs it is very nice and most of the people here have been coming for years and are very friendly to new faces - once you stay a week you'll be back - tell Sue I said hello.
