Enough with the Emails Already!
I am absolutely exasperated with the relentless flood of emails from Quickbooks. Every time I log in to do my work, it's another invitation to participate in a survey, another request for feedback, another pointless interruption. I did not sign up to be bombarded with what feels like endless spam. It's incredibly presumptuous and disrespectful to assume your customers have the time or interest to respond to these constant communications. Quickbooks executives really need to grasp that this is not engaging—it's enraging. We use your service to streamline financial tasks, not to provide perpetual feedback. Please, for the love of efficiency, stop spamming your customers and let us focus on our work!

QBO is USELESS! Cannot run Certified Payroll Reports like in Desktop. Migration brought over all my Customers and Subaccounts as Active. Cannot inactivate without removing BILLABLE from all the charges. These are charges that have already been charged, paid for and inactivated. And somehow this is my problem. Cannot partially charge a Purchase Order. When you do, it marks the entire PO as received and closes it. Again, they can't figure that out either. And, again, this is my problem. For over 10 years I have been giving feedback on the issues that QBD had, and not a single time has anybody ever called with a fix. Or fixed it in their next iteration of upgrading the version you are on. Same issues still occur today in QBD. Now they are compounded in QBO because it has no power. Good on you, Intuit!

The Quickbooks Online Program is a joke! The program doesn't migrate correctly even from Quickbooks Desktop. When you call the Help Desk - THEY CAN'T HELP YOU!!!!

Turbotax did my fathers taxes in 2023. The IRS owed him thousands of dollars. His refund was flagged by the IRS for some reason. He called both the IRS and TurboTax numerous times over the course of the past year but just got the run around and no one would help him. Turbotax was absolutely useless and was no help at all. After telling me about all this I got online to find a lawyer to help him collect his refund. That's when I came across something called the TAS (taxpayer advocate service). It's a division within the IRS that is specifically there to help people with TAX/IRS problems, for free. My father called the TAS and explained his situation. The woman he spoke to was very helpful, she put him on hold a few times while figuring out the situation, and the phone call took about 40 minutes, but the woman took care of the problem and he had his refund within 60 days, after waiting a year. The most annoying thing about it was that Turbotax was no help and all and didn't even mention to him that he should try the TAS. It seemed amazingly incompetent that I had to be the one to find out about the tax advocate service and recommend it. The other incompetent thing was that turbotax also send my dad an email saying his case had been resolved when in fact it had not been resolved at all. And when it finally WAS resolved it wasn't by them.

so i reached Out my customer for alternative payment and so he did he gave me a check since then i called intuit qb to refund him and they told me that my customer has to call them when my customer called them they told him that i have to call them for him to get it refund however this one had been back and forward till they told me that till March 10 ha gonna get his online payment back however he didn't got his money back so i told him to dispute it and so he did on the next day i saw on my bank statements a charge from intuit qb same amount as he dispute amount while i never got it from intuit qb so i called them and they claimed that i got the money from them so i sent them bank statements to approve that i had never got the money from them so they admit that they hadn't deposit the money to my account however they gonna refund the money to my customer and called them again today and although i send them the bank statements they reclaimed to they had paid me what my client paid online and that's why they charge me a charge back and every single assistant his giving me different information
in bottom line up to today they didn't deposit me the money my customer paid online from the other side they theft me the amount my customer dispute them
be careful with online payment and be aware they're acting criminally way

I have my own law office. On a Friday, July 7, a client paid us $6,000.00 as a retainer. I worked over the weekend and completed three documents for the client at a cost between $2000-3,000. On July 28, my wonderful admin assistant saw $6,000 had been withdrawn from my trust account. AA called intuit to follow up. AA was told the charges were being disputed and money had been withdrawn due to our failure to respond to notice of the dispute. My office did not receive any notice of the dispute. It was determined Intuit had an ancient email on file for one of our previous bookkeeper’s firm. Once we discovered the dispute, we disputed the partial refund of their retainer.
As of today, August 17, 2023, Intuit is withholding $5,900 of unrelated clients’ payments to my office.
As of today, August 17, 2023, we were informed for the first time that a chargeback of $456.00 had been due for “quite some time.” Quickbooks cannot tell us what constitutes the “charge back”. We were threatened that Intuit would shut down our account.
Our wonderful AA has had multiple conversations with Intuit between July 28, 2023 and today.
Are there other small businesses out there that would like to form a class in order to sue Intuit for their extortion of small businesses? If so, please post and let’s find a class-action attorney and try to litigate some decency and some professional business practices from this conglomerate.

There are so many things wrong with Quickbooks online and now you’re taking away the classic view of our reports?! Fix the problems first. Don’t take away what we like using. I have clients using desktop 13 that won’t switch to online because it’s so quirky. IF I HAD AN OPTION TO USE ANOTHER PROGRAM FOR MY CLIENTS I WOULD-SHAME ON YOU QBO!
