I’ve been dealing with these guys since I started getting into fixing up my cars. I tried another spot but ended up losing an entire van due to shady business. But Innovation Auto has being doing cars for me left and right and the work that Peter does is fantastic. Andrew and I ended up getting as close as brothers. They actually have a car that I’m scheduled to pickup next week sometime. So if you want awesome work at reasonable prices try them out. You won’t regret it because I know I didn’t.

Andrew, the owner seemed cool at first, but now it's been 2 years, and he still has my Jaguar and won't answer any of my calls or texts.

Andrew was upset that he negotiated the wrong price with my insurance and didn't have enough to fix my vehicle property. So now I have to get a laywer because he refuses to fix it and won't give it back.

Firstly, all of the 5 star reviews are fake. As you can see they are all posted in the same month 11 months ago.

June 2023 I hit a deep pothole which severely damaged my engine. Took my car to Andrew’s shop. My insurance company went to his shop for an estimate and determined the damages to be around $7k. I decided that I wanted to wait to get my vehicle fixed and wanted to take my truck back for the time being. Long story short, he held my truck hostage. For the first 7 days my truck was there he told me I had to get the service done by him through my insurance company, or pay a few thousand in storage fees. He told me he’s going to keep my vehicle, and that I can call the police all I want but he’s going to keep it. I understand that storage fees are normal, but $500/day isn’t normal and is predatory.

He called me on multiple occasions over the next few days to try to convince me that I should keep my car there and that he’ll do a great job on fixing it, with my other option being to pay $500/day for storage fees.

Eventually I called non emergency police to meet me at his shop to get my vehicle, but after hours of waiting, Phoenix PD told me it may still take another few hours for an officer to come out. At this point I told him not to do any work on my truck and to leave it there, as I didn’t want him to now feel like I owe him for beginning work as well. I also had my insurance company cancel the check sent to his shop and to have it sent to my home.

Luckily at the time that we went to meet PD at his shop, I seen my truck was parked outside of his shop and had a second key. I tricked this clown by calling him making it appear as if I decided I was going to get my work done at his shop. I faked an inquiry on the status of my truck, and I asked him if all of my vehicles parts are intact and if it still runs, and he confirmed it did.

I returned later that same day and picked up my vehicle with the spare key, and two of his employees tried to follow me home until (I assume), he told them to stop.

He text me threatening to have his lawyers contact me if I didn’t bring the truck back thinking that would trick me. He never took any action, and I was luckily able to sell the vehicle for the amount I owed on the loan.

I just had a newborn baby at this timeframe and this was probably the most stressful 2 weeks of the entire year of 2023… all over 7 days of storage (not even on his shop’s grounds) and the fact that this guy is desperate for clientele.

Essentially Andrew tried to ruin my financial life over 7 days of storage.

I knew about Andrew’s shop because back in 2018 my car was involved in an accident and he fixed my dodge challenger’s front bumper. He had the vehicle for 8 weeks but initially it was promised that the vehicle would be done after 3. During those last 5 weeks he had every excuse in the book, and still didn’t do all that great on the paint job on the front bumper that was damaged in the accident.

I could not be happier with Andrew and the Innovation Auto Specialist Collision staff, they performed an excellent job repairing my 2019 Ford Explorer, Andrew handled all my insurance needs and rental return extensions. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and explained to me in detail what the extent of the repairs would be, I would highly recommend Innovation to anyone or business that is looking for collision repair or other types of services they offer, Thank you Andrew and to the rest of your crew, job well done ?

UPDATE:
My parents ins Co called and asked Andrew for a letter stating their car sat for 6 mi while waiting for parts in order for them to get a refund on their premium. Andrew stated he will only provide one if I REMOVE MY POST BELOW. I did remove it BUT, he never provided the letter. Therefore. I am reposting my old review abd REITERATING THE FACT THAT ANDREW IS NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

11/22/2023: My mom was T-boned I'm July. The person who hit her had commonwealth casualty ins. They took her car to innovation Auto Specialists Collison Division the beginning of Aug. Since Aug we were promised the vehicle in Sept, then Oct. There was always a excuse. I got the name and number of the collision center from the insurance company Oct 30. This was my first contact with Andrew the owner of the collision shop. He sold me line of excuses, sensors, etc. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He stated if the vehicle passes the test for the sensors it would go to paint and be another 2 weeks and to call to get updates.
I called on Nov 2 to get reassurance that the vehicle did in fact pass the sensors tests. He assured me the vehicle passed and stated he would deliver the vehicle AGAIN 2 weeks.
I called again Nov 8 to get status, AGAIN he stated we are on track you will have the vehicle before Thanksgiving. "I promise, you have my word".
Being skeptical I called again Nov 16. To validate the vehicle will be delivered the following week. Andrew seemed annoyed and kinda rude. BUT AGAIN stated "I gave you my word" but I am not sure if it will be Tues or Wed.
WELL, we are now at Wed night day before Thanksgiving. And NO CAR DELIVERED.
This guy Andrew is a LIAR, AND HIS PROMISES AND WORD MEAN NOTHING. JUST LIKE A USED CAR SALESMAN. HIS BUSINESS ETHICS CUSTOMER SERVICE COMMUNICATIONS ARE THE WORSE. FILLED WITH LIES AND DECEIT.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, AND DONT BELIEVE A THING ANDREW TELLS YOU!

I have been taking mine and my family’s vehicles to Innovation for years!! They do a top notch job! I was worried about my vehicle not being the same after being repaired but it is good as new! Peter did an amazing job painting my vehicle while matching my paint perfectly!

I’ve done a lot of business in the valley and this was the by far the best experience ever. I was so worried that my vehicle was not going to look or drive the same after my accident, but Andrew and his team did an amazing job. I am so grateful for them all.
