I loved Homebot until about an hour ago when I logged in and discovered that sending my clients videos (and other formerly free features) isn't covered in my basic membership any longer. Shame on you for this money grab and gauging your loyal customers for add-ons. I've heard RealScout is pretty decent from fellow agents, I guess now I have the incentive to look into what making the switch would look like.

They deactivated my account so they can charge me the additional money they changed their membership to. Then wouldn't respond to my calls or emails. They did not notify me of the cancelation or anything. Terrible company and happy there's others. This is after I just spent $50.00 to activate my account.

Homebot is the single best monthly publication I use for my mortgage practice. I like the fact that I can send out monthly video updates and my clients enjoy the interactive communication features. For the past few years, they were excited to see values going up. Right now, that might not be great because values are dropping...but new clients will love it because they can track their ideal refinance window. I will say the email that goes out monthly is quite bland, almost spam looking and could be given a facelift. But, I still get over an 80% open rate every month. That is off the charts for any email newsletter!

I've been using Homebot for over 2 years. The platform and service is 2nd to none. My clients love it and over 60% of the emails sent, are opened by my Clients. This is the best Client retention tool and conversation starter available to loan officers. Also, a great way to engage with Realtor partners.

Really not believing the valuation number generated by Homebot. Is the app locked down, or does the real estate agent have the ability to manipulate the criteria used in calculating the home valuation. Sort of a precursor of what is going to occur when AI launches and corporations are using unreliable and possibly error-prone data aling with data mishandling. But AI is now the big buzz term and has overtaken 5G, which has been spewed as changing lives for over 12 years and the majority in the US still do not have true 5G and now all you hear about is faster speeds. Guess those lives saved will need to wait for another day.

Back to the review. One real estate agent has been providing me the Homebot home valuation reporting each month. I'm not sure why, since I informed him that if I was unable to sell my house without an agent, I already have an agent to represent me. But the emails and calls keep coming.

The reason for lack of faith in the valuation is listed below:

Agent 1 Homebot Valuation - $627,555

Agent 2 Homebot Valuation - $680,000

Valuations received on the same day, about 30 minutes, difference in receipt time.

Valuation Difference - $52,445.

Makes absolutely no sense to me, and there have been six homes with the same design as my home sold within the last two months, and the Agent 1 Valuation is in line with those six comps.

Do I trust the valuation, especially when there are no comps to back up the Agent 2 Valuation. The highest price ever paid for this design is $650,000, and that was four weeks ago. During the same four week period, this design has sold for $625k, $612k, and $611k.

Am I trusting the Homebot valuation, no tanks, Danny, tanks fer nuthin. I will go with the comps and maybe a slight bump added for good measure.

Absolutely one of the best tools we use in Real Estate. Love the reports, the delivery style, and the complete overlook of all the information provided in a user friendly and engaging style. My clients love getting the reports, which is ultimately the best testimonial, when clients love what you are sending, that's what matters the most.

I work for a real estate team and we offer Homebot to all our clients. They love seeing the current value of their home, along with the bonus features -- like how much they could earn if they AirBnB'd it, how much of a new home they could afford, or what they can do with the equity. I love the weekly report showing active clients -- follow up with about a dozen clients each week, which is a great touch for us. Our lender partner has closed many refi's thanks to Homebot! It's inexpensive and a great tool!
