I wish I could give negative stars. Only giving one star because I cannot rate any other way.

I've lived in Grand County for nearly 10 years and have been in this store many times for Verizon issues and have bought several Verizon phones from High Country Cellular. I ALWAYS walked out with issues resolved or new phone in hand. However, I have not been in the store since they moved locations and became an appliance and cellular store. Recently I went into High Country for a new phone. I was greeted at the door by Jason L. My first question to him was if they were still an authorized Verizon dealer. He answered yes, not only once but twice because I asked a second time just to make sure. We felt rushed and he wasn't very informative about much. I left there feeling unsure about my purchase. We got home to set up a new prepaid phone only to find out 3 hours later from Verizon customer service they are NO longer a Verizon Authorized dealer and the phone I bought was not for a Verizon network! He lied to my face!!!!! These guys are shady, and I will drive over the pass for a Verizon store. I will never step foot in this store again.

IF YOURE LOOKING TO PURCHASE A VERIZON NETWORK PHONE, DO NOT BUY FROM HIGH COUNTRY CELLULAR! SHADY BUSINESS!

It saddens me to leave such a review on a small and local business but lying to customers is UNACCEPTABLE!

Jason L was so awesome !!! Just moved here and my old phone crudded out on me and I was dreading the hour drive to the nearest Walmart ... but Jason totally took care of me
Even set up my new phone and activated it so it was super super easy ! Thanks for the great customer service and I'll definitely be back !

Clancy was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. I have spent a total of 6 hours with various Verizon costumer service representatives over the last 2 days and Clancy was the only person who could figure out what was going on with my account and phone. He persevered and was friendly the whole time. Thank you for your help.

Came in needing a phone. Already talked to a guy a few days before so should have been a quick job. They had me wait on the couch extending my wait time from 20 minutes to 30 minutes more after waiting because of new people walking in getting prioritized over me. I understand they are trying to sell and up sell, but I was not only here before the two people before me, but I also knew what I wanted. So why did I have to wait behind people I entered before. It wasn't by appointment today, so no reason for this wait. They also still don't wear masks as someone complained about 3 months before mine.

As a business owner myself I know the extreme importance of customer service. Holly went above and beyond for me. I came in to replace a phone but with the knowledgeable staff they directed to me to the best deal for my business. It was not an easy process to hook up 5 devices at a drop of a hat, their was some difficulty along the way and a lot of time was spent getting me just what I wanted. Holly stayed on the phone with tech support 3 hours after the store closed to make sure I was set up and running so that my business could stay operational the next day. She could of easily told me they were closing and we would have to continue the next day but she didn't and that speakes volumes for me. Her staff worked through lunch and multitasked on all the devices. Kudos to your store Holly!

Went in to have my phone looked at since it hadn't been working for some time, already had the manufacturers suggestions and was seeking a second opinion. The phone still worked as a camera and music player, just no service. Guy takes my phone, says he will just update and reset it, shouldn't take more than half an hour. An hour and a half later, he hands me back my completely bricked phone, says it's my processor, and charges me $40. Thank you for nothing, you made me pay you for making my problem worse. This and past experiences leads me to believe that this store doesn't have a lot of options to actually help, I would have been better off just going to Device Doctors the first time. I would have given one star but homie that broke my phone, took my money, and wasted my time was at least polite about it.

Really shady business practices. They will tell you they can't do things that they can or charge you for things you don't need...all to make a buck. If you call them to fix something, the owner will have her minions tell you, "just come in and we will take care of it". Don't do it, they are giving you the run around. Call Verizon's 1-800 number for all your questions. They will be honest with you. Then report this shady shady business.

Went in to check on internet options with verizon. Was talked into a prepaid phone that can hotspot with unlimited plan. Turns out this phone doesn't work in the region. I was forced to buy another, more expensive phone or forget the $75 I already paid for the plan. No one warned me it was non refundable when I purchased it. I felt deceived and tricked into spending more money than I needed, on products that's don't really suit my needs. I spent 4+ hours between both stores and customer service, only to have to buy my way out of a problem they put me in. Terrible service, I won't ever be back, and I will tell everyone I know to avoid them.
