I'm walking to Nevada with a cart for my dog and we needed a tire real bad . I looked and they didn't have one . I tell the lady there what I've got and how bad I needed something . She could tell my desperation and took me to the back flipped over a cart and had Scott help me get tires I could use . They made sure I got what I needed to continue my journey. Thank you so much

I liked the friendliness of the employees, the ability to take me exactly where I needed to go in their store for what I was looking for. They took my glass order right away and went directly back to cut it for me! The prices were a little high but not terrible.

Be very careful here, the prices on the shelf NEVER reflect on the register. And they won't honor whatever price was listed for their item. This has happened so frequently I wonder if they do it on purpose. Really sketchy stuff.

Went in and actually got what I needed this time. The guy that was working actually knew what he was talking about and knew exactly where it was. They don't have a lot in stock at the moment but currently working on that since they had to change vendors. Check it out. Way better than the last owners that's for sure.

Great Hometown Hardware store with knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have a wide range of products from glass to shingles to everything the big box stores would have but with friendly service and a smile on their face

I came to Las animas two and a half years ago since I've been here the folks who operate the Hat&Spur are the most important part of this community and they by far thee most important people who you will ever meet. Stop in and say hi to Susan and her staff you'll be glad you did.and while your there try one of them big ol ciniminnrolls they are, well you get one and draw your own conclusion.
