Kate Bates and Jennifer McConnell have been fantastic to work with not once but twice. They have a very high aptitude in their profession. I was working with another company when I tried Academy the first time from a referral and they were able to get me rate locked and closed very quickly to ensure I got the best rate. Then when the market fell out in 2020, just one year later, they reached back out to me when I thought I was already in the best position I could be in and again they were able to get me rate locked and closed into a better position. The initial purchase of my home went excellent. Continuing updates and timely responses From Kate were the norm. What I didn’t expect was an offer out of the blue to refinance at a much lower rate to save money and interest (because she had handled and was familiar with my setup). That was one of those “above and beyond“ moves that lets me know she is the best!
