I have used GeolOil for two months now for a shallow geothermal project. The software interface is very intuitive, and the workflow editor has been excellent to generate interpretations from logs, both standard workflows and scripts that are easy to write (shale volume, effective porosities, water resistivity values and salinities). Furthermore, a special thanks to Oscar, who has gone above and beyond in providing suggestions for workflows and help with my special needs in these unconsolidated soils. A suggestion for software development was implemented days after, so it was great to see user feedback is used effectively! I would highly recommend the software!

Good software at a great price. Though I'm not a professional petrophysicist, I was able to use the software effectively and Oscar's videos and help files were of great assistance. It was a bit of a learning curve for me but great tool to analyse well logs and produce professional plots - I especially liked the scripting.

With 27 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specialized in NMR petrophysics, I recently enjoyed a one-week GeolOil training course taught by Oscar Gonzalez. It was an excellent tour through petrophysical core-log analysis, and GeolOil a great intuitive software-vehicle to use. As a new user, I was particularly impressed by the large options of GeolOil’s library offers to calculate an extensive list of petrophysical quantities for one- and multi-well scenarios. I was searching for a low cost software for petrophysical analysis and quality control work for log data. GeolOil is very reasonable in price. It has a lot of petrophysical equations. User friendly, easy to use and to understand the functions. Best for quality control and Well log Analysis. Best customer support, instant query solve, no ticket system or waiting.

"I have been using GeolOil for over one and half years. It is a great tool for doing petrophysical analysis with the ability to do several sequential analyses like evaluation of porosity and saturation and shale volume for different kind of formation. I am still learning to handle the different module of this software. For me, it’s really values for money. I know there are some areas they need to develop to make the software compete with the most used software in the industry. I think the process is continuous and they are working on that. One thing I am happy about GeolOil is wonderful team support for the software which I hardly see in most of the software including the best one in the industry. The log displays are good, and it is easy to edit. I am still learning module like multi zone analysis with multi mineral logic. I requested them to have display template facilities otherwise it is tedious to handle multiple well in a short time. Once you create a display should be able to store it as a template for future wells. I think it’s one of the best software in the industry considering its cost, it’s really a value for money application. I am happy about purchasing this application for my consulting work”
