We at Cat Cafe Maui are using the FareHarbor booking system for our online reservations, and we couldn't be happier! The interface is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to manage bookings and track customer information. The seamless integration with our website was effortless, providing a smooth experience for our customers. Plus, they offer 24-hour technical support!

The support team is outstanding, always ready to assist with any queries. I also love the customizable options that allow us to tailor the system to fit our unique needs. Overall, FareHarbor has streamlined our operations and improved customer satisfaction. Highly recommended for anyone in the travel industry!

Shoutout to Hanna in Australia for her brilliant creative mind and help with customization, and to Mauricio for setting us up with FareHarbor. We also appreciate all the amazing team members we met today at the Oahu conference. We highly recommend working with them!

Had alot of good years with Fare Harbor. I talked them up at every chance. They were great.
Then they took a big change of course. Small operators like myself have been forced out by their new policies. They are too expensive and they lack a lot of features I'd been looking for.
I value loyalty. Fare Harbor showed none to long time clients like myself.
If you are a large company looking for a booking platform, Fare Harbor may be for you.
If you are a small company, there are better options. Peek Pro for example. They are collecting hundreds of Fare Harbor clients.

Have been using FareHarbor for over 4 years then recently out of now where decided to add a 6% DIRECT booking fee to my account without ever notifying me. I called and asked why and to speak with my account manager. Twice I was told they can’t transfer me to them or a supervisor over the reason I’m calling for. They then said they would have my account manager call me. Not to mention this all happened after our business was shut down for over a month due to back to back hurricanes. But they don’t care about you or your business just money. After over 4 years you think my so called account manager would have to courtesy to even call me. What a joke. So many other options out there and will definitely be switching.

These guys were my booking software for my tour business. Originally had a site of my own but was told that they would build me a new site for free. Then this October via Facebook found out that my free site was jumping to 3500 a year for hosting services starting Jan 1. Finally got an email today, (a month later) from someone at FareHarbor that this was taking place for me on Feb 1 of next year. Terrible communication and business practices regarding the “free” website. Avoid this company.

While it seems like they have a good support system, it is not. Their responses can be quick. But just with a ‘we will look at it and get back to you’. It takes much more time to get a response to your actual questions. Where often the answer is partial and not answering all my questions. It seems like their support has minimal technical knowledge and there seems no internal communication or way to escalate any questions to a more qualified person. What I’ve experienced is that anything more than basic requests, it’s a waste of effort as it has resulted in many back and forth email without any clarity. And most of all, lots of frustration.

Very disappointed. Baited into building us a new and free website 5 years ago, made sure and they promised everyhting would be owned by us and no strings attached. Fareharbor now won't show a contract we signed or were lured with. Starting October 31, FareHarbor disputes and claims ownership of the website forcing you to pay above market rate ($5,000) hosting fees for them just to host. You can't keep and manage your "own" website unless you pay $5,000. Complete bait & switch tactics. It literally feels they stole our website and all our owned content and pictures, that we had for 15 years. Our site will be offline unless we pay $5,000, every year. The give us 2 months to build a new website with someone else.
Fareharbor, it is common sense that you don't treat a company that made you a furtune that way and be that arrogant presenting your most loyal clients with a new reality and after the facts with no compromise or alternative.
I don't recommend at this point any new companies to sign up with Fareharbor unless they turn this ship and direction it is sailing around asap. The platform and customer service used to be a industry leader and game changer, and now has become a burden. Calendar builds are being ridled with cumbersome forms repetive item requests, rate sheets, and new forms. Process has become ever more complicated and less customized. What used to be handled in one conversation/phone call with you account manager now takes several bureaucratic steps, it literally takes hours, days and even weeks only to not get a finished and poorely executed result e.g. calendar. We spend more time troubleshooting nowadays than it originally took to build out a hole 2 years of calendar. Request are dropped and not completed, and you don't get informed for month late to find out "oh, we do that different now, you have to fill out this form". Poor process and communication. Time we don't have and the burden we were promised Fareharbor was going to take away from us is now put on us. E.g. booking calendar, what used to be a dublication of a calendar taking a few hours of Fareharbor's time and was completed with a well synced product in the same day now can take weeks or months. Account managers are doing what they can, I can't complain about Hayden Iverson, he is working hard and he is great. However, he is being left high and dry by Fareharbor's poor top down decisions.
Fareharbor, you don't plug the goose that laid your eggs.
There are better platforms now.

FareHarbor has disappointed so many businesses, especially since it lured people in with the promise of free websites, only to start charging an outrageous $5,000 annual fee. This sudden change in policy feels like a classic bait-and-switch, leaving small business owners feeling trapped and frustrated. Many companies signed up thinking they were getting a helpful partner in managing bookings and online visibility, but instead, FareHarbor has become a financial burden.

The platform itself is frustrating to use, with limited customization options and an outdated user interface that doesn’t match the premium fees they’re now demanding. This “pay-to-play” tactic is unfair, especially for smaller businesses that simply can’t justify such a high cost. FareHarbor’s approach has eroded trust in the company, leaving people feeling scammed.

It’s no surprise that many former users believe a class action lawsuit should be filed. FareHarbor’s practices are simply predatory, and businesses need protection against this type of exploitation. If you’re considering FareHarbor, stay away. Look for a booking platform that’s upfront about costs and doesn’t pull the rug out from under its users. The risk of being overcharged is too high.

Fees much higher than other online booking portal. And if No refund, no exchange, say it flatly. Do not use tricks such as “We have upgraded to 100% cancellation policy”== which mean no refund, we keep all your money.
