For those of you just wanting to know the basics - Epicentral is perfect in every way. But for those of you hoping for all the intimate details of just what that might mean, follow me good sir, on a journey into the inner workings of the co-working space that is Epicentral.

First, it might depend on what it is exactly that you are looking for in an office environment. Epicentral provides three different working setups and options. "Hot desks" - ie choose your spot on any given day... setup a monitor, sit on the couch, setup at a desk next to Dan - or if he's breathing too loudly - which, admittedly, is regularly - maybe over next to Heather today, because Heather is always nice (both of them are nice actually). Or maybe you hate the setup routine of monitors and keyboard retrievals in the morning... then you can get a dedicated desk upstairs. That space seems (I never got a dedicated desk, but I did hot desk as well as have an office) a little more quiet, and a little less open to random cavorting. Which could be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on what you are looking for. And then finally, Epicentral offers dedicated offices, both upstairs and downstairs. The brilliance of an office is the fact that you don't have to leave the open space. Socializing takes a hit with an office.

The brilliance of hot-desking is that every day is a little different. And if you find yourself on the phone while at a hot desk, Epi provides phone booth rooms for the sake of not disturbing others that are heads down coding that next killer app - or whatever. Hot-desking is like insta-family in a can... just add water. And heck, if that isn't your thing... it's easily avoidable. Plenty do. But if you want a lunch buddy - or someone to go on a walk with? I did plenty of that during my year and a half there and will definitely miss that the most.

Personally, I spent a large portion of my job on the phone, so I rented an office at an extremely competitive rate for Colorado Springs. There are other slightly lower office rooms - but not offices with the people, the amenities, or the happy hour. Maybe I should walk you through a few of those amenities...

The office space has everything you need for your general office needs. Free extra monitors to be used for the day, cables, printers, and paper, envelopes, packing tape, screw drivers, batteries, envelopes, usb-c to hdmi converters... I mean, everything I ever needed I could always find, or heck, the staff would run out and get. I asked for Tylenol once instead of Ibuprofen and the next day it was well stocked and available.

The Kitchen is fantastic. Coffee machines of various stripes and configurations. Want a pour over? Check. Espresso? Check. Standard drip? Done. In fact, in the morning, just walk in, and there will probably be coffee waiting for you when you get there. There's a fridge with cokes always stocked and snacks. Usually a beer can be found in there as well. And heck, make friends with the right people and the keg will be unlocked for you.
Oh, and there are plenty of bathrooms - and that is a great thing.

Speaking of alcohol - Thursdays is a highlight at Epicentral. Starting around 3:30 or 4, people start assembling for happy hour. People pour out of offices, phone booths, dedicated desks upstairs, (heck, they even come from the other stores on the street) all to chat and have a drink and meet other people. And if alcohol isn't your thing, fairly regularly pancakes will magically appear in the mornings. That is another fantastic chance to meet other people, imbibe a flapjack and say hello to someone you haven't seen in a little while.

Lisa, Frank, and Laura are magic. Lisa, the owner, would like you to think she's grumpy, but she's actually here to make your office dreams come true. Laura is annoyingly sweet. And then there's Frank. There aren't enough words for Frank. Books should be written about Frank.

I maxed my word count trying to tell you all about Epicentral. Trust me - it's the best office space in Colorado.

I love Epicentral! I have been going to Epicentral as a FT, PT, or day pass member since 2016/2017. I have met some incredible people through the space whom I consider good friends. I thoroughly enjoy the community events they host outside of the space as well. They are invested in supporting locals and local. Their Thursday cocktail hour is always great conversation.

It's a fantastic place to meet passionate, educated, kind, & humorous people of various backgrounds and expertise.

The space itself is laidback and very clean. There is music on in the background, but not too loud. Some days people are chatty and engaging, other times everyone is getting some good work done.

I appreciate their kitchen and offerings of coffee, tea, sparkling waters, sodas, and snacks. They have a space for community/event advertising on their main screens/emails on a case by case basis. A few community discounts as well.

For bigger printing projects, I sometimes will rely on the library or a locally-owned printing shop down the road. They have a great laminator, and other helpful supplies/tools. Their private meeting rooms are cozy and comfortable as well.

Lots of amazing, big personalities here. If you're meant to enjoy the space, you will love it very quickly and find your people! Best coworking space in Colorado Springs, hands down.

Wow. Wow…. Wow! My favorite place to relax, be productive at work and socialize! Frank was amazing.. welcoming me in and ensuring my setup was perfect for my distinct needs. I’m a consultant and need to be free to jump on calls with clients as needed throughout the day. There are plenty of phone “booths” to jump in for a quick call. I was able to take over a conference room downstairs and had the most productive day all month thanks, in part, to Frank, the caffeine options and the amazing atmosphere.

For coffee lovers like me there were amazing fresh beans, and a plethora of brewing options! I elected to go with the Ethiopian beans in a beautiful pour over.

I recommend coming in on Thursday for happy hour and getting to socialize with some amazing folks.

10/10 will be back for more productive work days

Best option in the Springs. My wife and I were clients of Epicentral during a two-week medical trip and we loved our experience, Staff was great and facilities were more than we needed. We aren't in the Springs enough to justify a recurring membership but if you live here and are looking for co-working options I think they're the absolute best at what they do.

Really great vibes. Lots of natural light, plants, and friendly people. Tea, coffee, office supplies, monitors, meeting rooms all included in your membership. Plus the space captains are very cool, friendly, supportive people.

I used Epicentral for a week while evaluating Colorado Spring as a future destination and was very impressed with this office. Great people, excellent setup that has considered all the needs of a remote worker looking for a little camaraderie and flexibility. Highly recommend this addition to your work from home setup.

I found Epicentral when I was visiting Colorado Springs and needed a place to work for two weeks. The folks at Epicentral, and Frank in particular, were fantastic. The office space is terrific, the snacks are great, the price is reasonable, and the community of smart, interesting, talented people is wonderful. I am so glad to have found Epicentral and had the opportunity to work there for a few weeks. If you are looking for Coworking in Colorado Springs, you can't go wrong with Epicentral!

Oh, and there's a great coffeeshop and a bunch of awesome restaurants just a few doors down.
