I needed an inspection of a house foundation on short notice and Engineering Local Xperts(ELX) came thru in a pinch!! The engineer, Carlos, was very courteous and professional and had no issue crawling under the house and getting dirty!! Carlos was very thorough inspecting and took time to explain all the issues and his recommended repairs prior to leaving the site and also sent a report a couple days later. I had a few questions before and after the inspection and Emily answered all of them quickly, both when calling and emails! Highly recommend and will use again!! Great people and great business!

This company would happily take your money without ensuring that you have all the things in place for a proper advisement. We contacted this company to inform them that we were in the beginning stages of our remodel, and that we explained our ideas. We were charged $300 for a visit to be told that we needed to have architectural plans drawn first before their employees will give us a structural engineer. I wish this information was disclosed to us first so we didn’t have to waste our money for the initial visit.

ELX was hired to install a new ceiling mounted exhaust fan in our newly renovated kitchen. They were professional throughout. They were timely in responding to my initial inquiry, and thorough in investigating options, to include a mechanical engineer to review load-bearing issues with the trusses and ceiling joists. I am extremely pleased with their effort and the results. I would hire them again.

I had theses guys come do an inspection on my foundation, and they did a great job on detailing me on how the foundation works, Carlos was very knowledgeable on the the inspection, and very polite, it was a blessing having him out here. I highly recommend this company.

I hired Carlos with Engineer Local Xperts to design my new home built. He was really knowledgeable as far as finding creative ways to cut down on the cost. Carlos was always available even after hours which was great to have. Construction is stressful especially when you just see money signs fly out the window but Carlos was always able to provide feedback and solutions throughout the construction process. I will definitely use this company for any future projects!

I was in a very tight pinch as a Realtor with buyer's under contract on a home. I found out on Thursday about possible structural issues in the home, and had until Monday to figure out what was going on because of our tight deadlines. Emily, the business manager, was super friendly, informative, and was able to get us an appointment the very next day! Carlos was the structural engineer I met at the property and he was professional, communicative, and timely. He was also honest in that the home did not have any structural concerns. Will definitely be adding them to my contractors list for future clients!
