I had the most incredible time at the Elevation hotel in Crested Butte! It was my first time there, and the staff was so welcoming and helpful. The spa was the best massage I have ever had and it was topped off with the wonderful hot tub and steam room. It was also incredibly helpful that the Ski rentals were in the hotel. That made everything feel effortless and allowed me to relax on vacation. I am already planning my trip back because I loved it so much and the Elevation was a huge part of that!

Surprised to see bad reviews below but knowing how people will give 1 star reviews over something small without talking to someone or a manager first before writing a bad review.

Our vacation here was nothing short of amazing. We go on 2 ski trips every year and this hotel has been our best experience ever. From the price point for a TRUE ski in/ski out to the live music they had playing every night to the neat lounge area we watched the Super Bowl at to the amazing food at Jose's Restaurant to the gaming area where we could do something with our kid instead of laying in bed watching TV to the amazing staff.

I highly recommend this hotel especially for the price point.

This was our first time in Crested Butte, and it was an excellent introduction to the town. Elevation is the perfect ski retreat resort. From easy lift access to a fantastic gym and spa, this resort has everything you need for a wonderful getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

Elevation Spa Review - below standards |The spa was very basic. Not plush. More like a gym locker room. Towels were rough. No attendant. Very few amenities. Floors of showers were not clean. Wet sauna was out of order. Massage therapist was good tho.

Great location and spacious rooms. Hotel is pet friendly, which is great. We love dogs. This trip we didn't have our dog and the room we got must've been dog friendly, and it was though there wasn't even a vacuum used prior to us arriving. Dog hair all over everything. Also, weird they have this early 90s flat screen and the channels broadcasted are in the wrong format. Basically watching everything in 4:3 rather than wide screen. Not a big deal but could be better.

This is a beautiful spot! It’s perfectly located and has some really excellent amenities. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. I could not recommend it any more highly. Plus who couldn’t love being in Crested Butte! This place is amazing.

Elevate was absolutely exquisite! Beautiful views, fantastic staff, conveniently located right at the base of the mountain, local ski shops that I could shop for hours, delicious food. I will definitely be back! Best trip I’ve been on in a really long time.

Terrible Experience, Wouldn't Recommend. I could go into detail, but that would take all day, so I'll just give the overview.

From start to finish, everything was wrong. The valley view room we booked wasn't that at all. It was a view of the neighboring condos, not even facing the valley. The room itself was gross, bathroom tiny, and walls paper thin. Bed was horrid to sleep on. Don't expect rest.

The hotel bar doesn't open until 5pm, so don't plan to go sit for a cocktail upon arrival. The bartenders were rude and appear to hate their jobs. For NYE, they took all the seats at the bar away and made people stand in a single file line to come up and order a drink one by one. I'm sorry, WHAT

For the restaurant- making and keeping a reservation was a nightmare because of mistakes on their end. After they confirmed said reservation that was booked well in advanced, we were stuffed into an overflow room, which is not the restaurant at all. It's a pool hall of people everywhere, just lounging on the floor. Loud and no music. Not the vibe we were looking for on NYE.

The hotel staff in general looked and acted miserable. They had attitude and couldn't be bothered.

Finally, be ware of overpriced taxes and fees. The room ended up almost double d/t these.

These are just the main points, but all in all, this vacation was a disaster. We decided to cut our losses and left our trip 2 days early and drove home on New Years Day.
Also, their photographer needs a pay raise.
