I initially met Mandy through PolkaDot Powerhouse, and engaged her for a Financial Coaching package. The experience of working with her as a coach has helped me gain vital insights into my business's financial health as well as into how my own personality and experiences have shaped my approach to managing my business finances. I'm an entrepreneur who needed a new tax preparer and I hit the jackpot with Amanda and her team at Elevating Profits! I had known Amanda for a couple years, loved her energy and was impressed with her knowledge and enthusiasm for her work. So when I needed tax prep services, I turned to her.
What I got was solid communication, quick responses to my questions and needs, a secure online portal so I didn't have to hand-deliver my documents, and a very organized approach. Before preparing my returns, she also assisted me with a question for my elderly dad.
I was particularly impressed that Amanda asked to review my previous returns to determine which of my many deductions to include so that I'd be less likely to be audited.
The only glitch for me was getting familiar with a new online platform to upload my documents to, since I had been using a different one for years in another state. Once I understood how to navigate that, I did fine.
My philosophy is "you get what you pay for" and their knowledge and service were more than worth the fee for my tax returns.
