I’m happy to have ran into this repair shop! The owners are professional, friendly and knowledgeable! Becky at the front is the sweetest, overly abundantly intelligent and a great person to have interacted with. Doug did an amazing job on fixing my iPhone. I could not be happier! I will always come here for my electronic fixing needs. Thanks a million!

I've known Doug a long time. (Close to 30 years.) He is the only computer specialist I've ever dealt with in Casa Grande, and will continue to use his services. I've never left Doug's Laptop Shop feeling unsatisfied or disappointed. You can get a price upfront for repairs and parts, and services and he holds true to his word. If you need a new computer (custom built), repairs, computer parts, or even network setups; Doug Young is the man to see. Doug taught me everything I know about computers.

Please, read this and the other reviews before visiting.

Terrible customer service! The gentleman who works on the computers seems nice enough and seemed genuine enough. He did make some effort though twice tried to get me to purchase a laptop that didn't fully work.

The woman who runs the front desk is like no other person I've ever met in any front end of any business. Incredibly, searingly next-level rude, as others have mentioned. Not curt, but straight-up street-level traffic-altercation rude, of the type that make you fully stop and say to yourself, "Did this lady really just talk to me like that? Seriously". When I brought the slow-running computer I'd just purchased back the morning after purchase because it couldn't even buffer a YouTube video at 480p, much less operate with two tabs up, she said 'no refunds'. I asked if she was ok selling computers that don't run video after the customer said they run video, and she replied "No refunds that's our policy". She was just fine selling a $300 computer that couldn't run a YouTube video, then didn't want to take it back. After much arguing the gentleman came from the back, after a discussion he asked if he could have a chance to make it right. Now to me that's how you do good business, fair enough. So even though the woman in front of being ridiculously, comically rude, he's trying to make it right, and I'm guessing maybe she's had a rotten day let's be human and let this one pass, so ok. I called up there a week and a half later he's got a new one ready, I thought he was fixing the old one but fine, let's get one that works well.

When I went in to get the replacement, they've got a computer, wireless mouse, and the mouse receiver is in a USB multi port taking up the one USB port on this laptop. So all he tells me is he has lots of extras for the trouble, and I'm smelling something's up so I said I need to test it. I went to test it and the mouse pad on this laptop is non-functioning, which of course they didn't offer up front. That's what the mouse is for, to replace the broken pad. For $300. And also now almost two week process, and being treated like trash by the woman at the front desk, and an argument.

So I refuse to take it, ask for my money, and the woman is yelling about no refunds again. And mad at me, telling me I'm a rude customer after a two week, two-nonfunctioning laptop $300 experience. I really have better ways to spend my day. I had to explain that this was not legal, I would call my bank and get them to claw the money back under purchase protection, and call the city chamber of commerce, or they could refund me presently. The woman literally tried to bully me into taking a second computer that didn't function properly, and basically in my opinion steal $300 from me. She said I 'couldn't be satisfied' because I wanted a computer with a mousepad that works.

This exact same behavior from has been reported through many previous reviews, which I unfortunately neglected to check before entering the premises. Who acts like this in a place designed to get customers to feel good about buying things so they can earn money? Just this one lady. I've never seen another person like her in any business, anywhere, ever.

The gentleman is nice enough, but still twice tried to get me to take a computer which didn't function properly. Unfortunately we have to give one star to post a review. This was a zero star experience, and the worst I've been treated in 52 years, in any business from Arizona to Mississippi, to Illinois, Canada, and back. My guess is that they survive mostly preying on the many retirees who live here, and don't know any better.

This was literally edging on complete fraud.

What an experience. I advise you to stay far, far away from this place.

I was just about to take my device to this shop until I thankfully read the reviews.. I have never seen such behavior, just baffled. You would assume in over 22 years of business you’d pick up on customer service skills.. If the customer or client are in the wrong you don’t publicly respond in a comment making yourselves look completely unprofessional. Simply apologize for how they feel and for any misunderstanding (not even saying they’re right or not..) then direct them to call your shop or stop by to correct any misunderstanding or speak of the said issue at hand. Crazy enough it wasn’t even the negative reviews that turned me away, it was how you decided to handle each and every one. But business owner to business owner please work on your customer service, there’s free courses out there if needed. Best of luck, you’ll need it. Just hope someone isn’t angry enough to follow through on a lawsuit..

If there was an option, I would give 0 stars. I strongly advise staying away from this place.

The lady is incredibly rude and unprofessional, displaying a bad attitude.
Furthermore, the owner, Doug, is completely unreliable and rude.

Additionally, I asked for an estimate, they tried to keep my laptop for almost a week, promising to let me know in 2 days. After 5 days, I went to retrieve it, and they claimed it had been taken apart into 100 pieces so they cannot give it back at the moment. Despite that, I insisted on taking it anyway. However, it turned out that it hadn't been taken apart at all. Liars.

And, Never got my estimate....

As you can see the owner replied saying they have no paperwork, but I have attached the work order from dropping it off. LIARS.

Completely unprofessional and the rudest people I have ever met. As the manager of another store in town I could NEVER be ok with treating my customers like they do. Absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Run as far away as you can.
