What a horrible experience. I went to an open house on 3 Townhouse place unit 3C in Great Neck today and the real estate agent was so rude...my god. It felt like she did not even want to sell the place. We walked in the building and the first thing she said was that the building had a waitlist for parking and then that the building does not have an elevator. No greeting whatsoever. She then proceeded to ask if we were working with a real estate agent. When I told her yes she sighed!! And it was such a hassle for her to get up and walk up the stairs. She opened the door and didn't even wait for us to walk in with her. She plopped herself on the couch and just told us the owner is working on changing the wallpaper...wow how was someone like this hired As we were walking out she stayed lounging on the couch and asked if there were any comments. We just left. What are you doing Douglas Elliman, poor choice on this one. Her attitude was pretty despicable and did not represent her company or the seller well at all.

My husband and I were at the open house today.

Just providing some feedback regarding  today's visit:

- As a saleswoman, your mood was very inappropriate and disrespectful;

- Your showing of the property was at the bare minimum, which is not in your and your client‘s interest;

- This was absolutely the worst open-house experience I have ever had;

I know the market is currently hot and maybe you are overworked, but respect, professionalism and ethical behavior is required and expected from a real-estate agent. You lost a potential buyer. I am not surprised you could not sell the property at an higher price point given my experience with your open-house.
