// , This company seems to lean more toward the approach of embedding DevOps expertise where needed within operations, development, and shared services, rather than taking the "Let's make a separate DevOps department" approach.

DigitalOnUs's approach is more effective because if you make a separate DevOps Team/Department, it becomes "the team that is allowed/expected to do DevOps."
In other words, the Development and Support departments may see DevOps culture/practices as being something that isn't expected of them.

DevOps is a culture - a set of mental and technical tools that color the way that every department works, from operations, to development, even to marketing.

DigitalOnUs approach of embedding and training up to high levels of DevOps expertise breaks down silos. Well, it seems to work so far, from what I've seen.
