I dropped my phone off close to closing to fix a cracked screen. The owner, dark-haired, dark gruff guy assured me he could fix it in 5 minutes, “that’ll be 80 dollars.” He said in a cold tone. “We close at 5”.

I was expecting a 5 minute job to be considerably less $ but hey, what do I know, My husband needs his phone fixed. “Ok I’ll be right back — I need to find an atm”

I go next door but to no avail, atm is down. I find a bank nearby, I come back, it’s 5:04!

The guy closed up & is gone! Wow….!

My guess is this is how he (the owner) secures customers. By not waiting a few minutes for them.
